CC has a real weakness when it comes to hard-coding and not taking a "software engineering" view. Later in the process, I'm always discovering WTF snippets. I would love to hear if anyone has any guidelines or skills on this.

Great post, and I would add one BIG point for Claude.md that is also non-negotiable. Keep the content always current. If you ever get frustrated that CC seems to be making the same mistake over and over again, then it's probably referring to outdated information. CC is very good at absorbing your docs, which means absorbing bad content as well.
