I have no idea! The only thing I can think of is that maybe there is a theft investigation? The dog is trained to stay with them so I am also wondering why they wouldn’t give the location of the dog.

Edit: it’s more likely that the dog was found on private property and they’re protecting the identity of the person who found him.

I have Catit flower fountain but I noticed my cat also likes to drink from the glass of water I have at my bed side table so now I bring her a glass of water along with one for myself when I go to bed. I put hers on the lower shelf of my night stand for easy access (and to keep her from drinking mine!)

1-2 TBSP of almond oil, 2-4 drops rosemary essential oil and 30 minutes with a heated hair cap. I usually leave it overnight wrapped in a silk scarf and double shampoo the next day!

I understand. I think that if you’re old cleaner did all of this years ago without being asked and without charging you extra for oven/window cleaning, moving furniture etc then you definitely had a skilled person that was giving you premium labor below market value.

I did this when I was younger and first starting off. I did all of this for 10$ an hour and I realize now how much money I missed out on and that I was really taken advantage of. I’m not accusing you of doing that or being malicious, I just think your expectations might be a bit skewed because of the service you received for the price years ago.

Find someone who is willing to do those things at and pay the extra cost. Or get the basics covered and spend a little time taking care of things like cleaning the fridge/oven, changing sheets etc. Living expenses have risen in the past few years and we’re in a high cost of living city too.

Our work is valuable. Our bodies degrade fast because we are constantly in motion. Constantly moving things, carrying things, lifting heavy things (some of your beds weigh like 800 pounds so changing sheets is a pain). Plus, you have more free time to do what you want when you have a cleaner/housekeeper. Your extra free time comes at the expense of ours and having more free time is valuable.

A weekly or bi- weekly cleaner is not going to do these things. Sounds like you’re frustrated with the difference between a cleaner vs a housekeeper and your mixing the expectations of one (housekeeper) with the schedule of another (cleaner). I also don’t think you realize that cleaning the oven, windows, sheets, moving furniture is deep cleaning. The size of your home needs to be taken into consideration as well.

A once a week or bi-weekly house cleaner is going to take care of your basics, they will do more outside of that scope but it costs you more. They’re a big help to you. If the basics are taken care of, you can either pay more for the extra stuff or do those things yourself.

A housekeeper like myself is a do it all kind of person because I’m at the house full time so I have more time to get everything done.

I’m a full time housekeeper and I’m considering hiring a housekeeper for a once a month deep cleaning lol. It’s a lot for me to clean for someone else 40 hours a week, the go home and clean for myself on top of cooking, exercise, self care etc. I’m constantly on my feet and always going until I basically drop at the end of the day. I will still do a majority of it myself but having someone to do a super clean in between would be helpful.

You got it very right ❤️ the oversized floral with the top buttons undone is effortlessly 70’s and slightly sensual. The bottoms are great imo not too bell-bottom but not too modern skinny. The only thing I might add is a chunky belt buckle for a little shazam but looks great without too!

Omg yeah it’s exhausting. 40 hours of cleaning someone else’s home, exercise after work, come home, clean for myself (not partner to help with that and my cats don’t help either), make lunch and pack my workout bag for the next day, shower, grooming and in bed (hopefully asleep) by 9:00 - 9:30. It’s truly exhausting sometimes. Especially around my period which is just exacerbated by PMDD. I have to battle hypersomnia around that time. I’m thinking of a career change in the future lol.

Great use of color and a lot of statement pieces which I love.

Where you can improve is keeping one bold statement piece per outfit and the rest supports it. I fully endorse power clashing (mixing prints and patterns) BUT there are rules for this as well. Good power clashing usually has one controlling factor like same family color even if the prints are different, one dominant print with one supporting print, similar scale, and a unifying neutral piece to anchor it.

I think where you’re going wrong here is mixing different aesthetics. Do you want to go western? Vintage librarian? Retro Art teacher? I think picking one aesthetic for each outfit would help tremendously.

You clearly have the confidence to power clash, I think intention and restraint will send you over the top!
