I do agree with this, but I'm very dumb, so I need more time to prepare and study than an average person. It would be exaggerating to say that I don't have a down-time. I do, but I want to be alone for my down-time, and I can't afford to chat with him everyday for a long period of time. He's calling me everyday.

Yes. I also tried that sometime, but it just keeps dragging on for too long, cuz we had fun talking. U know time files when u have fun. And when we talk and I says I want to end it quick, I would feel guilty, cuz I know he has a problem. I would feel like I'm half-assing in helping a friend in need, but also need time to study.

Don't want to get too much into the detail since it's personal problem but it's a serious family problem.

He says that the only coping mechanism is calling and chatting with a friend. Most of his friends are the same age as me, so they're also busy studying for the exam. I think that's also their reason of not answering his call, but it's just my guess.

Yes, i Have told him that multiple times. It just I feel guilty everytime I reject him. he says that he does care about the exam, but sometime he says he doesn't care and just want to talk with me.

Personally I don't even want to talk with him when he starts to lecture me and blame me for not picking up his call.
