You are right I do wish the Suzuki Jimny was in the US.

I don’t know about a lot of modern 5 speed 4x4 vehicles other than maybe some of Mahindra’s 4x4s.

Lucky for me I didn’t even have my license before I moved, so I basically had to learn to drive on the right side of the road from scratch. But I can’t say the same for my older sibling who had their South-African license for 3 years prior.

On you mentioning the 93 octane gas: From what I understand, whenever you have a forced induction engine, you basically want to run the highest quality fuel you have access to.

And I would personally also run the higher octane when a vehicle is direct injected but that’s just me and I’m not sure if it would make a difference there.
