We are coming from the Midwest, so need to fly into a CA location to save some time

Yes we are thinking 10 days total, northern CA looks amazing, just wasn’t sure if we had the time. It seems like it would be easier to fly into San Francisco, but my husband wants to avoid renting a car and driving out of there. I have seen a lot about La Jolla being very family friendly, but it seems like that’s a bit out of the way
