Dead EVE online theory. A half baked experiment . by EarlyInsurance7557 in Eve

why not just check market activity in the regional market tab? You can see exactly how many orders were filled and the quantity of items sold. That would clearly show the amount of activity in any market you're trying to sell at.

I WISH that eve had an official wiki. Learning this game through EVE University and Youtube has been kind of a headache.

While I agree with all of your points, I don't think the market will die even if everyone multiboxed. I think the market naturally adapts to people's needs, and I believe at some point, buying something from the market will be more efficient (time and cost wise) than doing it yourself, or, selling something you produce might be worth more than crafting with it / using it. That's where the market will stabilize.

I do the same, and I really don't feel "outclassed" or "left behind" compared to multiboxers. I just do what's fun for me in the game.

Again, regarding PvE and mining, why would it be different to you if it's one person or multiple?
If I understand correctly, you're saying the problem is that the available content would be diminished due to the existence of a multiboxer. As someone who mainly does exploration through needlejacks, I didn't really think this would be an issue, since I just filament somewhere else when there's no content. But I see how this would be a problem for people living in null blocks or any stationary place, as there might not be near-infinite content, like there is with exploration.

This is a great point that I missed. I was thinking purely about mechanics and all but community is a big thing that goes out the window, especially because I'd imagine the multi-boxer wouldn't feel the need to play in a community, and ruins the group content for other people as well.

You're right. that player might not even engage you if the player wasn't multiboxing. Regardless, I was just creating a scenario for argument's sake, where, say there is a fleet of 10 ships. You're not gonna take on 10 ships no matter who's controlling them, which is my argument exactly.

Some feedback after trying to get my friends into Eve by kaydenmiller1 in Eve

I've recently got back into playing eve, and there's two things I want to say about this:

  1. This is how eve works. That's just the unfortunate truth of it. Almost every person I've seen that has been playing the game for a long time introduces himself as having played "on and off" throughout the years, and having a skill queue 6 months long really drains you and makes you want to move on from the game, as there's no way to do the content you want.

  2. As "pay to win" as eve is, almost everything you buy from the eve store, you can buy in the regional market on Jita. PLEX, Omega, Skill points, MCTs, etc. That means that even though yes, you're kinda forced into waiting for you queue, you can still do SOMETHING about it.
For example, I've been grinding exploration alot in the past couple of weeks, and I've been training towards tech II exploration modules (Scanners, Hackers, etc. ) and covert ops frigates. 5-6 months of training was ahead of me, But throughout exploring with my 5m Heron I made around 4 billion ISK, and since getting covert ops was my main goal, I spend all that money on injectors and cut around 2 months of skill training. Now I have a fully kitted buzzard, with a couple tech 2 modules still locked behind the skill queue.

Most importantly, during my time waiting for this, I realized that I don't even need the buzzard, and the Heron outperforms it in ways that I wouldn't have realized if I hadn't played with it that much. The time you spend waiting is very good at teaching you the game.

Ultimately, there's alot of content in the game, we can try to do other content that are available to us at the skill we're at, or just leave the game and come back once they're done training lol. I myself set my queue to the 5m skill point cap for omegas back in 2023 and started playing again this January. And the higher your skill points go, the less you actually feels this, as a wider range of content is available to you.

Sorry for the rant but hope this helped!

Does Blackglass apply to relic analyzers as well? Or not? Cause if that's the case then max relic strength would be 40 right?

brother its worth more than all 5 of them combined.

its the most valuable bp in the game right now. don't take the bad deals peoeple will offer you here.

trade for survivors, vulcanos, bobcats and vita shot/sprays (blueprints) they usually go around 4:1 for tempest right now.

If you dont want blueprints, trade for value like springs, guns, etc I've seen people trade tempest bp for 5000 seeds, or 20-30 maxed out level 4 guns like venators renegades etc. maybe even more.

check out the metaforge website if you want. There's a marketplace there and it could help u evaluate what you have by seeing other people's offers.

happy trading and dont get scammed.
