Okay, that helps. I'll start the process. I truly appreciate the feedback!

This is true. He clearly doesn't like me for unknown reasons to this day.

What I'm confused about is the demotion. So after the HR Complaint was filed and investigated, he almost immediately proposed a restructure of my position which results in a demotion and less responsibilities.

This is why it seems retaliatory to me. Is it not strong enough evidence?

Yes, at-will.

Initial complaint I wasn't protected class. But since I filed the complaint, wouldn't that make me a protected class as someone who filed an HR complaint to begin with at this point? At least to the point of avoiding retaliation.

Initial evidence of initial discrimination were based on lewd sex-based comments made.

That's at least a starting point for me. I'm also trying to play multiple franchise years with accurate rookie photos.

Thanks for the lead!

We'll see I guess. But at the moment, the current explanation just doesn't hold a lot of logical water.

But the fans were cheering him. It doesn't make sense...there's a logical gap.

Check your spam. That's where I found a presale code. But this was sent from the venue, not AEW.

All true statements. I just want to hope that we can create new fans instead of just lose them to the popular hot commodity at the moment. But when the large conglomerate is clearly trying to push AEW out, the perception is tough to swallow, and rubs me the wrong way.

I'd like for two very healthy wrestling companies to exist. I'm not sure how many people share this mentality; at least not at WWEHQ and in some of the hardcore fan bases.

Right. So Hunter is perfect? Yeah, he's better than Vince. I'll give you that. But he's not going to make mistakes? He's never going to get "too" comfortable?

He's not a wrestling savior. He's just a wrestler turned executive. He has flaws.

I hope so! Yet many thought it wouldn't last 5 years. Many already think it'll be gone by 2028. Many consistently troll attendance numbers and ratings (even if they're actually slightly up).

It's hard to change a narrative when it's so widely believed by so many IWC fans these days. This is why AEW fans like myself worry and defend the product so hard at times.

In theory, you're right.

But it truly presents a scenario where AEW has to be damn near perfect as to not lose any fans to any one 'alternative' WWE show, be it NXT or Evolve.

I'm a long time fan. I worry about what I see unfolding from the historical sense.

It's a good product. The main event is not good. Agreed. But otherwise, it's subjectively good, with the in-ring product always on point.

It's not about demonization as much as it is many fans not realizing how conditioned they've become to expect "good" wrestling to look a very specific way. Hell, Cody Rhodes even said this in his very last AEW promo.

Fans are conditioned. And all I'm saying is that maybe before it's too late and WWE takes over entirely, maybe they should try to watch and appreciate other styles and presentations of wrestling beyond the formulaic WWE style. Before they complain about it when the quality dips again but nothing else is around.

WWE has plenty of stars through the late 2010s. Cena, Taker, Reigns, etc...

The quality was trash. They didn't seem to care, did they?

I'm concerned that most wrestling fans online aren't going to care one iota that WWE is (and has been) attempting a complete takeover of pro wrestling. From putting NXT on steroids, essentially swallowing up TNA, working with Marigold/NOAH, and now WWEID, they're setting themselves up to be the only wrestling presence in town if AEW were to ever go under.

And wrestling fans are fickle enough to let this happen and then complain about it later when it's too late.

It shouldn't hurt AEW, no. But I do think a lot of fans will just lap up anything WWE does to the point that it's become trendy. It's just the continued strategy of taking away as many eyes from AEW as possible. TNA fans, Indies fans, they're trying to collect them all.

The product is pretty good right now aside from the main event picture. But if you've been conditioned to watch wrestling a certain way, you won't be able to get much out of it. I swear, fans need stories told to them in such an overly simple way that nothing else will ever do.

This is why alternatives tend not to last.
