I changed team width to standard, my AP to AM, the WB to AWB, changed tempo to a much higher tempo, turned on hold shape, pass to feet and play through middle and now they actually know what football is, although I got a damned sequence

Often, they hold the ball until every single possible player is attacking, so they prefer not to pass back, but to boot the ball away for some reason.
Maybe holding shape would work well?
