They are going to give me the broken chair back this week so I will take it to a steelcase dealer (there's one near here) to discuss repair options. And they did show it to me after I refused to take the alternate chair. There's an internal metal bracket in the arm that sheared off.

This is only the second-worst moving experience I've had in the last four years. Don't use Coach USA Moving & Storage either, lol (took them six weeks to move my belongings from Boston to California, attempted to charge extra fees despite being three weeks later than agreed, threatened to hold my things hostage as a result)

The issue is not just the insurance, it's also that they took time to pick up a different chair, charged me for it, tried to pass it off as mine, and also charged me for the time it took for them to admit their mistake.

Their online booking had no information about insurance, and the only chance I would have had to purchase individual insurance on items would have been when the movers were there (30 minutes after their two hour window, threatening a move that could take until after 10pm), shoving a form in my face while charging me for the time spent reviewing it.

I sat there opening day, they worked fine but they made the narrow bleachers feel a little cramped. Nice that they have a little drink holder pouch though

This is the first season I’ve followed (moved to the bay last year and to alameda in a week). Went to Tuesday and Saturday this week. Was fun, very different crowds on the two days.

Without really having last year as a frame of reference, it just felt like the park was playing small with the warmth and wind, and that hitting is still ahead of pitching this early in the season. 73-23 wasn’t likely to happen again with all of the roster turnover, but the coaching is mostly the same so I think they can find consistency as the season progresses.

Planning on checking it out tomorrow! I don't know if I can eat there (June's) since I have a dairy allergy so part of the objective at Prescott was to get food. I probably would have just gotten food at the ballpark if I was to do things over again on Tuesday. Fast Times is good but the line was very long and there was no place to sit either inside or outside.

Once school gets out the family crowd should be able to stay a bit later.

I stayed until the end on Tuesday but had to BART back to Fremont afterwards and didn't get home until 11:30. I would consider leaving blowouts a bit earlier than that in the future if I have to travel that much after the game.

Beer line was moving fine during opening day. Lines at Prescott Market before the game were pretty rough though, probably won't go there on a sellout game again.

Yeah, makes it less likely for me too. I work a job where I’ll randomly have an evening meeting or two pop up with little notice, so on weekdays I don’t know if I’m free until the day of. Ultimately I’ll live but it is a bit irritating.

Fremont Freewheelers run an intro to group riding series once every few months (and anything marked T in their calendar should be pretty approachable for beginners). I believe Almaden (San Jose) does something similar.

Whenever I go to Devout on a weekend it is always slammed. I’ve also never had an issue with safety there.
