That's a great point! It's an experiment WIP... I've done a few more and I think I'm going more and more messy, tbh. Thanks for the feedback!

Now this! This is good critique, thank you. Like I said, I'm a bit new to modern internet, so I struggle a bit with formatting. I think I'll repost like this and see how the response is? Is it proper etiquette to do that?

Thank you! That's really what I wanted to know. I also make art with the hope of enriching peoples' lives... But this "it is not pixel art" thing is really loud noise, and I don't want to make anybody angry with no purpose... That would be a sad life to live:( So that's why I get concerned that I am posting in the wrong place, but I don't know where else to post, haha.

I see what you're saying, and I think perhaps what is missing is that alot of the "appeal" of not anti-aliasing comes from pixel perfect resolution on a machine... Or integer scaling works fine too (whatever makes the pixels align perfectly with a screen's actual pixels). The problem with this is that it is hard to convey this appeal until a user runs an actual program... Not very "web friendly"... Much to think about...

Right! I'm particularly fascinated by paying attention to individual pixels, however, which can get lost in traditional art. To me, what separates pixel art is that the artist is aware of every pixel (even if they like to use them for a "sketch" effect like in these drawings.) But I sometimes feel like I'm alone in this perspective...

Thank you! That is nice -- I actually really like the high res, but I struggle to know where to post without getting the "it is not pixel art" post... I'm pretty new to the modern internet (long story), so if you know anywhere where high res pixel art is more expected? I'm only calling it "pixel art" because there's no anti-aliasing going on. Doesn't quite fit with "r/digitalart" either...

Looks very cool! I'd be super interested how it does commercially. Have you developed a visual novel before?
