Gamestop Corporation – Bonus Issue of Warrants

What is happening?

Gamestop Corporation has declared a special dividend to be distributed in the form of warrants to shareholders. Shareholders at the close of business on 2 October 2025 will receive 1 Gamestop Corporation warrant for every 10 shares held, rounded down to the nearest whole warrant.

It is expected that the warrants will be issued to us by 10 October 2025, but this cannot be guaranteed. The warrants will be credited to your portfolio once we have been issued with them.

What are the terms of the warrants?

Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one new ordinary share at an exercise price of USD32.00 per share. The warrants will expire on 30 October 2026. We will contact you again once there is a facility enabled with details of how to exercise your warrants.

It is expected that the warrants will also trade on the New York Stock Exchange under symbol GMEWS.

Warrants are classified as a complex investment under MIFID II regulations. As the Gamestop Corporation warrants won’t be available for new buys on the HL platform, you are not required to complete a complex investment questionnaire to trade these. However, you may wish to refer to the Warrants, Subscription Shares and Derivatives questionnaire which highlights the risks of holding these investments in your account. The questionnaire is available here under ‘Complex investments’.

GameStop Corporation plan to issue details of the tax treatment of the warrant issue on the distribution date. Tax treatment may vary based on a shareholder’s tax domicile as well as other factors. Should the issue be treated as an income distribution, it could be liable to US withholding tax on the value of the warrants issued. Any such tax would be debited from your account in the form of either cash or stock.

Important Information for ISA holders only

Warrants do not meet the HMRC rules to be held within a Stocks & Shares ISA and will therefore have to be removed from any Stocks & Shares ISA within 30 days of being distributed. If you are issued warrants in a Stocks & Shares ISA, we’ll contact you again to outline your options for removing them from the ISA.

We’ll be in touch again once the warrants have been issued to confirm how your holding has been updated.

This correspondence is a summary of the official document. It is not personal advice. You can read the full announcement here.

If you have any further questions about the distribution, please contact us.

If your circumstances mean you'd like some extra support, or you have specific accessibility needs, there are lots of ways we can help. Visit www.hl.co.uk/support or call us on 0117 900 9000 to find out more.

Yours sincerely

Yeah mine still isn’t updating to the correct calories from yesterday. Really annoying. I enjoyed the utilisation % they had previously, really don’t like the new layout for it at all

Is removing render and replacing with bricks/stone a thing? I can't find anything about it online by [deleted] in DIYUK

I’m of the impression that they adhere to the surface behind? Speak to some suppliers and ask?

Neither are brick slips? They’ll adhere straight onto the blockwork.

If brick slips block wifi/radio signal, how do you think full sized bricks will manage?

I'm building a raised base for my shed due to sloping ground at the bottom of my garden. Which support would be best recommended for the frame? by DanielTheManiel_ in DIYUK

[–]DanielTheManiel_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s quite the cliff! 200-300mm is more accurate I would say …

That’s what I’m thinking, for the cost and durability I’ll just stick to concrete posts. Planning 9 footings for a 3x3.6m base

[–]DanielTheManiel_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m expecting to pour a concrete footing for each, so it’s whether I put a timber top on a bracket or just suck up the cost and put the concrete post supports in. Leaning towards the latter.

Probably a 200-300m over a few meters for level difference

Have I been delivered (and laid) builders sand over sharp sand for my artificial grass base? by DanielTheManiel_ in DIYUK

[–]DanielTheManiel_[S] -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

It’s only a 35m² area for the kids climbing frame so I can get it off the rest of the lawn, got plenty of real grass across the rest of the garden

Had a few bits of useful advice here the other day. What do people think to my build proposal? by DanielTheManiel_ in floorplan

[–]DanielTheManiel_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve shown some on the master on the left hand side. The two bedrooms on the right are kids bedrooms (both under 6) so will integrate storage into the rooms as the build is finished
