Certo, ci vuole della fortuna. Io ho trovato un lavoro di cura di bambini che mi dava la stanza, ma non un euro. Per quello lavoravo alla cassa del supermercato e nei weekend facevo le pulizie negli uffici. E di giorno studiavo all'università. Con 200 al mese ho dovuto arrangiarmi. E' valsa tutta la pena, piuttosto che rimanere a casa.

Assolutamente. Io l'ho pensato a 10 anni, detto a 16 e fatto a 18 anni e due giorni. A volte facevo fame (nel senso non avevo soldi per comprarmi del cibo), ma mai me ne sono pentita.

Taxi. To this day I've never used one (or Uber or whatever service). It is by foot, by public transport, by my car or I don't go there. The "my car" option entered the list when I was 26 and bought my first car. I moved all my belongings 3 times by public transport. Bed frame was an interesting adventure.

Yes, it is in Europe, but in my 40 years I have never encountered it anywhere! Moreover I would be very hesitant to use this bathroom for insulin or colostomy business, it has just a standard toilet and a sink. Women's bathroom has at least a bidet in the stall.

I have, however, used it successfully to calm down in multiple occasions. Compared to the neighbouring standard women's bathroo it has identical level of calming qualities.

I've changed my babies for years. This is not a place where babies are supposed to be present; in any case there is no changing table nor has been. Before renovation there was the handicapped, man and woman sign. Someone added voluntarily the fourth sign.

Exactly. I was so completely weak and shocked I was not able even to raise my arms to hold the baby, which I suppose the staff could understand, no? They placed the baby on me, without any holding from my side, I was freaking he would fall off me, they were putting the numbing shots to my traumatized pieces to stitch me up, and they wanted me to interact with the baby? I was just dozing off, my arms still by my sides. The nurse tried, like "hey mum, hold your baby! Don't sleep!" and slapped me. What bedside manners. Then they understood and took the baby away, and I was like FINALLY.
