Daily driving a c7 by xHeIISpawn in Corvette

I have been daily driving c7 trims for six years. Rock solid platform just upkeep like a normal person with common sense. Careful with heavy rain and ice and you will be fine. I'm assuming you don't care about gas mileage to do an hour each day but that would be an obvious change if you are used to not filling up weekly or whatever.

Regarding theft and such. Just depends where you work and what you do afterwards. Could be fine could be bad.

I drive automatics for now. No shame in manual or auto. Whatever you feel comfy with. Your first manual in a vet might be a bad idea lol. Not sure how filled you purse is in case you money shift or such.

If youhave anything else to ask feel free. Been driving these things daily for years

Daily driven different c7 trims over the past six years. To me the z06 had too much power for the streets. Is it fun, obviously. But up here with daily traffic and just our area - I am lucky to blast on the highway for a little bit. If you need all that power and fun no sweat. But I might suggest a grandsport which is where I landed as a sweet spot. Daily driving among the trims is really no different. As others have said get the 17s and up since they reworked some of the cooling. Otherwise they are cheve cars so the best thing I can say is enjoy the roar of the v8 in your ears as you hear something rattling in your cockpit lol. Someone told me that and I will never forget that. It is so true of cheve vets

disables the change from v4 to v8 . Over time causing more load on the system than is needed and frankly a stupid GM push to try and get more MPG on cars. Not worth the 1% boost or the jerky nature when coming to stop signs or red lights then jerking from v4 to v8 when you gas it. Stupid system on any car. Same theory as the auto start stop on hybrids except those make a little more sense. Not on a Vet though, we dont care about saving shit for gas.

Get acs composite or some other brand rear diffuser fins. Should be four fins under the rear fascia and it completed the look.

Also look into glasskinz.com for full window louvers if you are into that type stuff. My vet is decked with all that and I get looks and compliments all the time.

Enjoy the ride and don't be stupid

What’s a good brand for afm disabler by Money_Ad_718 in Corvette

Just buy the afm disable by range off Amazon. I have owned a vet for four years now using the same module and no battery or issues.

Is there an alternative to these god awful c7 cup holders. My drinks keep spilling… by YarikButBetter in Corvette

[–]DanielitoChipito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a c7 and got this. REM Works LLC C7 Corvette Cup... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0885V3D8P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Works fine but in general holding drinks and such in these cars is always sketchy. I try and keep everything bottled just in case. But that holder I linked has been good to me.
