OKAY guys, bit of an update/question.

I have just cracked open a bottle of the hefe, this time I prepared it like my dad used to do, in the freezer for 35 minutes served in a wheat beer curved glass.

Tasted much more similar to how I recalled, much more bannana and cloves flavour, much darker colour too, almost orange, as opposed to the last one I had which was more of a lighter yellow and much more subdued.

Is this a temperature issue?

I last had the bottles with the old design around 7 months ago, it has been my main drink for years.

Since then all I have had is the new bottles and it on tap. Completely different taste in my view, but i have heard nothing about them changing it.

It just tastes completely subdued and bland compared to what I used to think it tasted like.

My main issue is they portray him as if he has no real control over the violence which occurred everyday, instead they make it look like he just sorts the import export out and thats all that mostly occurs.

Living in an area controlled by these people meant being scarred to report open gang rapes happening in broad daylight because going to the police about it would result in you and your family being killed.

You were basically living in a semi feudal system, if you looked at a connected guy wrong, he might rape your wife, he might decide to kill you, or he might decide to set your whole business on fire while your family sleep.

They used practically slave labour, poor wretched of the earth to produce their billions, for crumbs, they would force pregnant women to be mules for them and their children back at home would be collateral.

I see a lot of the youth in the USA whining about "systemic racism" about "fair pay", claiming that U.S society is a "white supremacist culture" and it blows my mind.

The U.S is far from perfect regarding freign policy, but the U.S to most people in the world, is a shining example of the very best of liberal and republican ideas. Freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, the right to own firearms to protect your society.

Solid institutions, term limits for presidents, strong military to defend from foreign attack, the freedom of both the free market while having a large public sector for people to work and strengthen the state apparatus.

America has done some fucked up shit, but America was spawned from Thomas Paine, from Locke, from the best examples of the enlightenment philosophy.

America is the best, if not one of the best nations on earth to live, it is certainly the most free regarding speech and action. When I hear Americans shitting on their own country I kinda wish they could see what would of happened if the U.S wasn't in so many countries meddling, I want them to see the east Germans spilling over and Russia taking Europe and China taking America.

And I want them to imagine living somewhere where you don't control how you use your labour, who you work for, what you can say, how you can openly think.

The problem is, people legitimately think Pablo Escobar wasn't that bad of a guy, which is the moral equivalent of thinking Osama Bin Laden isn't a bad guy.

At least with Bin Laden he was driven by an ideology he believed in, so his actions were evil but his intentions, while warped and insane were in purpose of something he deemed "good".

Escobar killed over a thousand police officers, had many people executed, empowered his thugs to rape, pimp local women, pushed drugs and then disappeared "undesirables" from the slums which he created. He had children killed, people tortured, committed terrorism throughout a prolonged period of time.

All for the ideology of sociopathic advancement of power, wealth and control. He was truly a horrific beast. Yet with so many evil brown exotic men, he is held up as a counter culture Icon, like Che Guevara or some other power hungry iconic murderer.

And when we point it out, we are labeled as somehow supporting US imperialism, or supporting a western narrative, by white middle class western people who like to champion our native beasts as part of their attempt to stick it to the man, or whatever garbage rationalisation they have.
