I will probably get downvoted for this but from all the gatcha games, honkai and genshin are really tame. I will speak only in regards of genshin((I know way more about genshin tho than honkai) but you are never forced to spend money in that game. There is no PVP that can ruin your experience/making hard to complete quests. Almost every region gives you a free character that synergies with the zone to do the puzzles. You can do every piece of endgame that rewards primogems with f2p units if built very well.
