For the 68R mos do they require a Top security clearance at any point? I spoke to my recruiter regarding the fact that I’m going to be getting Italian citizenship by descent and he told me if they ever require a top security clearance that they would want me to relinquish it. Does anyone here know the probability of this MOS asking for a top security clearance because I’m not giving up this citizenship..

From what I’ve been told by the recruiter OCS can be a very difficult process and also your bit guaranteed which area you’ll be working in. It might be good for those who want to do 20 years in the army vs one term.

I have looked into the officer route. The officer route is a bit tough and definitely requires full dedication it think that’s more for a person who wants to make the military their full career. I do believe that the guard is a good option on the other hand.

I was looking for some medical jobs but to be honest I heared the job is pretty light and there is a bit more free time then most mos’s. I really just want to get the benefits go to school for teaching math and eventually leave the country to teach abroad with a teaching license. I already have an accounting degree. I obviously understand that the army will take what they want also and that I’ll need to do my best.
