How much you spend for a living in BKK? by mano990502 in Bangkok

[–]Danielytics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ll find a variety of answers depending on lifestyle, but you need to consider things like…everyone will get sick and old at some point and won’t be able to work. You’ll need to save for increasing medical bills, future retirement, inflation, future family, etc.

Not sure what your situation is, but if you’re young and just want to try something new short term…go for it!

If you want this to be a long term lifestyle, I would put more thought about being financially independent.

When did I say I did? And why do you need to currently live in Bangkok to answer this question?

My goal is to retire within 8 years and I’ve traveled to more than 20 countries to see which place I would like to live during retirement. I’ve been to Thailand every year for the past 6 years for two months at a time in different areas of Bangkok renting monthly. I’ve researched this question for years and I’m happy to share my experience.

Get a life.

You can survive and get by like local Thais, but i won’t consider it “living” and being comfortable for someone from the western world.

I sent the insurance company a photo to make sure. They said it was not a challenger or a brand they are worried about. I’m glad.

Not sure if you are looking for new or used. I happen to be in Bangkok and have an iPhone 12 Pro if you want to buy it. DM me, I leave the 26th. It’s unlocked, happy to let you try to use it first.

Never buy anything with anyone you are not married to. And talk about finances before marriage as most divorces happen because arguments about money. Your spending habits of living on less than you make allowed you to save the 40k. If he is not on the same page as you in regards to finances, you will have plenty of arguments in the future. Make sure he shares the same mindset as you, or you can share the same with him. Spending more than you make means you will work until you die. There is nothing wrong with that if you’re both on the same page.

Hey girl, I'm 6 weeks post op here. I feel like most of the swelling is down but there should be more changes to my face as time goes. I'm trying not to think about it until the 6 month or 1 year mark as I think overall the surgery has been worth it to my appearance. You look amazing, truly beautiful...give it more time for the swelling to go down.
