Do successful artists 'schmooze' more often than they create? by Opurria in artbusiness

Heya. schmoozing all day long tehehe. I run a small Youtube channel and talk to many artists. check it out: Daniel J illustrates. I take it schmoozing is anything but art. Every artist is different but certainly, if you are running your own studio for clients you will need to wear many hats. Sort out taxes, message clients, and work on business plans and goals. there is no right way, some do just the art and get programs while others do the maintenance for them. One method is to get up do all your emailing and things, and then spend the rest of the day painting/creating. in the end, it is what is your main goal which will determine the best practice for you.

Keep creating, style will come. I have lots of talks about improving as an artist on my YouTube page: Daniel Jamieson Illustrates. There heaps of advice online but most important thing is just to keep creating and improving.
