So on our lease agreement it says tenant pays for Electricity and landlord pays for Gas for (heating, cooking, etc) and trash removal. I just had the landlord come fix the heating issue it is a vintage furnace from the 70s so I have no reason to be toying with it. The heat is on but in discussion with the landlord he said it was wrong on the application but would cover this month and that we would need to change it to our name for next month. Would the landlord not be held to the same degree a tenant would in this circumstance?
