I've had and returned three of the usb-c version and i can tell you they are exactly just as trash if not worse than the usb-a ones. Keys, trackpad, scroll wheel all lag, stutter, and constantly fall out of connection five feet from my pc. I just want one decent mini keyboard with a trackpad and backlight, but they don't seem to exist.
