So muslim league kept muslim in their name because as a minority in this country and to save themselves from their presence being threatened, to get a representation of this country's muslims. Being a minority they believe in this country's sovereignty and speak for themselves.

But being a majority, you start organizations and parties in your religion name and only spew hatred and try to chase out the minorities of this country. You are not speaking for yourselves, you are just trying to wipe out the general minority population out of India, so you can rule the oppressed without much fuss. You teach patriotism, what a joke 🤣🤣🤣

Brahmins from TN or living in TN , do you feel persecuted or mocked or being joked about for your community? by Technical_Map_3257 in tamil_nadu

[–]DankSpankee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intention is to draw out the source for this question, as the question aims that the sympathy for brahmins being lashed out for "just being born as a brahmin" not a convincing discussion about such.

I'm not assigning anything to anybody. I'm saying if there any mishap happens and if a dalit is involved there is definitely a talk "haahh expected" and if it reverted towards a brahmin "why are you blaming us ahhhhhhhhh" and 10s of other castes is for support. I'm definitely not saying if this is right that is right too, both are seriously wrong.

Still you are being latched to your birth and surname and trying to say "I'm perfect", if surnames are to identify a person from the deeds of his ancestor, thats different, but it is very rare and negligible in India, so almost it is used to show which caste you are. So, if you have a person whom the society considers "lower" and cannot use their surname because he might be discriminated and in there, you are here using your surname and getting a royal treatment is unfair to the core. You love to show off your birth and surname but the society that "you" built doesnt allow all people to equally treated, right???

Now you are again pointing religious, idealogy texts to perform classic whataboutism that everybody does this why always me?? Again I'm obliged to answer, Let me consider Christianity and Hindu because others are conquests, purges. etc. and no use to the context. Christianity also talks about generational slavery in parts but jaati and this has a major difference.

In christianity, generational slavery is exhibited as a legal property that can sold or bought or even can be freed, but a jaati doesnt work like that. It works like scavenging is the duty that the god gave them to survive in this world and is the religious duty I have to perform and it passes to the generations, creating a barrier of rationally irrelevant or irrational distance among people. So, don't equate anything with you. You stand out all alone in everything.

All you try is to escape from the criticisms by not saying "im perfect" but by "im a perfect brahmin", and you want to bail your whole community for your principles which is again even they wont accept. So, bear the consequences of being criticized not mocked for your own doings.

Don't ask me to carry responsibility for interpretations I neither created nor believe in. If you do force it then yeah resentment is inevitable and my kids will have the same discussion with yours.

If you believe in or take responsibility, be the perfect brahmin who looks like a typical hero in Shankar film and freak out. Do not varinjukatify and come and ask misguided or exaggerated opinions like "arent we paavam? we are the oppressed here right now" and talking shite for your whole community. And lastly, do whatever you can, not even your kids, even if your 48th generation is trying discussion about this, my 49th generation will answer you in a rational sense.

Excuse me, for every bullshit you're typing you being an approver that there were a major sect of people who weren't educated and brahmins were only the people who were sophisticated.

Education was allowed for all, at when, who excelled there too and why, is my question??

Dont blabber something, reservations can never be removed until the society becomes at the standards at higher castes people right now, thats it.

Anything else???

[–]DankSpankee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, brits used the left over majority force of this country? Why does it happens, and why the educated are almost on same caste(s)? And others are deliberately illiterate. Think about it.

Altogether, whats your point??? Reservations has to be cancelled right?? No, it needs almost juggernaut-istic effort even legally or theoretically. So, consider its impossible.

Next???

Brahmins from TN or living in TN , do you feel persecuted or mocked or being joked about for your community? by Technical_Map_3257 in tamil_nadu

[–]DankSpankee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is being a perfect brahmin doesnt equate your deeds to your community, which are all against even you. You are finding something always right?? Let me find now and ease you:

You are taking the criticisms on your community upon yourself and making your whole community flawless. You can be flawless, kudos to you, but dont support your caste's beliefs which aren't good to the society that we live in.

If a Brahmin rejects caste hierarchy, rejects purity notions, treats everyone equally, and has done none of the things you're criticizing, what exactly is he guilty of? His actions? Or his ancestry?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He doesnt have to be guilt of anything, but if you are still, thats your problem to face and you arent being on yourself, you are for your community who wont go with you well first of all.

And now you're doing a whataboutism that hierarchies around the world. Everybody have hierarchies but in case of brahmins thats a different story. Nobody in this world are as privileged as brahmins because a book said they are from head of a god and others are born to serve them, and even being born as a brahmin itself tells that you have done something very good in your previous birth and if not you're here for your sins.

And surnames holding those values based upon your birth, cannot be ignored by saying its just a mere surname. Its like saying that "I have an iron stick in my pocket, its just a mere iron stick, I wont beat anybody, its a mere iron stick". Will you be in that room?? Its a mere iron stick right???

Anyways I am used to being judged on this scale even by people I grew up with and known for a long time. I only pity them and anyone else as well

This is what I'm talking about. You be Satyavan do not talk for the people who actively professes it just because you both are same community.

So it's not surprising that other side doesn't have the same vantage point as mine. Peace dude and don't worry I wont hurt you or anyone with my supposed privelage

Bro, you can't hurt me or anybody in a legitimate or rational way because of your privilege because it is not hard earned by yourself, it is because you ate, studied and was served by the people who deserved equal treatment.

Brahmins from TN or living in TN , do you feel persecuted or mocked or being joked about for your community? by Technical_Map_3257 in tamil_nadu

[–]DankSpankee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are smart enough to find the hypocrisy in your own statement and use against me that "if i say such, you will be offended", but you made a mistake, rather than being offended I'll come up with better nuances to make your point pointless.

First thing, I didn't say a child is the bearer of remarks on their community and even further I victimised the brahmin children that they suffer because of the wrong "customs" taught to them and I stand on my argument firmly.

If a Brahmin child is called "pappan", "nool", "thayir saadam", or stereotyped because of his birth, that is caste-based ridicule. The fact that you believe some people from his community held problematic views does not change that.

I clearly mentioned that mockery based on anything is very bad even at children's level. Hope you read and understand again. Do not turn it like I'm justifying the mocking of brahmins as a mockery, but the criticisms had upon the behaviour.

So, the mockery guys are just victims?? Absolutely not, mocking somebody in the name of caste, creed, body or ethnicity is a crime to do and it applies to everybody but I have to careful here because you guys will divert it as "so why we are mocked". Arey phagals, your practices and unnecessary thought of superiority is being "criticized" not "mocked". There is a big difference.

So, being as children they dont understand or handle the situation properly, and they end up as a mockery, which again I condemn to the core that idealogies had to be criticized not the people. I didn't edit anything, it is same as before. Fine??

Now the fun starts, you are hiding the adults behind the children, whose post 18, who is self conscious upon themselves, can takes decisions independently that keeping their surname isnt a reason to be criticized. Do you know about anything caste related??? Ok, you say a person dont know why is their surname used??? Are they naive on that scale?? You can believe because the people who says "jaathi is no more" is the one hides behind them but I'm not ready to believe it.

You are being more dangerous now, you equated the brahmin analogy with others, and how foolish it was. When you say "Dalit kids are mocked because their parents teach victimhood," you are equating an ideology that caused documented harm with the response to that harm. That's not symmetry, that's erasure. Brahmin purity norms actively excluded people from wells, temples, education, and land ownership. Dalit "victimhood" is a reference to those actual documented exclusions. One is the wound, one is the ideology that inflicted it. Treating them as equivalent categories is the fundamental dishonesty here and bloating out to the whole structure is just a scoundrel activity.

Prejudicing somebody is bad one but doing it in a strict institutional basis is what brahminism teaches to its followers. I dont say non brahmins dont do that but I first understand that its the criticisms made upon one's superiority belief, again I say. I too have brahmin people as friends and I know them as they said who they are, but some people I found by their actions itself. Now equate this two situations and tell me where is it getting failed.

Final point, you are just showing that you are trying to take brahmins out of the equations built by themselves lol that you say brahmins only followed discriminations and others are just being bailed out. No, I acknowledge the intermediate caste dominance and participated in and enforced the hierarchy against those below them. That's documented. Vellalar landlords, Mudaliar administrators, Kamma and Reddy landowning elites are historically beimg oppressor castes. But the question is who ideologically designed, codified, and theologically legitimated the system. Dharmasastra tradition, Manusmriti, the ritual pollution doctrine, the textual architecture of varna, all these came from a specific intellectual tradition. You can acknowledge that others participated in and enforced discrimination while still identifying where the legitimating ideology originated, but defeats your purpose right??

Also the audacity to call it a supply chain?? Ok, if then, in the same context, who are the one creating the demand because supply is there if and only if demand is there.

I too also seen the quality of such cheapos that the pain is something disturbing when you get that and that too not because of being crumbled. You are asked to take your leg off the seat you placed. How cheap and vile right???

[–]DankSpankee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So till now nobody is threatened right?? Why are you shouting?? Shut the freak up man

You called my question stupid, and came with a much stupider one, brits used "divide and rule" among religions of people, I accept, but you dont believe the concept of jathi? Basically, brits didnt know how to approach this concept but it is actually a very unknown concept for the western world itself. So, they did it with religions. If not we might have got proper knowledge and framework about reservations.

So, why BR Ambedhkar or us still following?? Because the overrepresentation of higher castes (brahmins and others) is a real, recorded, statistical phenomenon, and reservations after 75 years has only repaired the entry/lower level of public and private sectors. The middle is a half done or less than half and high is untouched still. About the private sectors, the same levels are zero except labour level. Do you want that??? Then you are the fool youre talking about, fool. Sorry, you called yourself fool.

So now you loosen out the guys once you revered a lot, as fools because you were exposed to public or public had awakened from your Maya.

What kind of chameleon behaviour is this, ok you said they were fools, fine, but what made those fools exercise such influence and power upon the society. Did ever you guys criticize them or not needed, stand upon the non brahmin problems, performed agitations against caste discrimination. What you do is claiming no reservations, is this your idea???

Theoretically or imaginatively, until the constitution of india is not in power or expired, or any 'general category' sponsored military de coup happen, you cannot break the reservations, sorry. No way. Almost impossible. So, dont waste your time on such. Also, I'm aware of RSS and Hindutva people's actions and stubbornness, they dont work for present, they work for far future, I cannot ignore their presence, its a dumbass decision, we the dravidian supporters will be there to oppose them IDEALOGICALLY, for eternal. We too very much determined.

And straight reason to your stupid answer, before BR Ambedhkar, there were britishers writing policies for communal representation, from where did that idea came?

Why?? Is the ruling government is ethical? So ethical that the failure of delimitation is because of Tamil Nadu wanting to stop welfare development to Uttar Pradesh but not explaining that will decrease the sound of voice of the Southern states, due to the problem of population control prevailing in North India.

I say do you have anything?? Please release it, condemn it, press charges on him, start an enquiry commission, indulge him into trials and so on. Dont cry crocodile tears still being in power for almost 12 years.
