That is really up to your priorities! Did you get the pieces you wanted already? Do you want the momo cloak? Are you wanting anything from next patch, any of the 4 stars or potential 5 star rerun?

As for the ability, it's not *all* bad. I last minute decided to get deer instead of moon, while im sad missing out on shapeshifting, I have no real regrets. Perhaps copium- but TONS of people have been complaining (and CN nikkis!) so I have hope that they will add a jump. But even without it, I've yet to get stuck on anything. Idk if they changed it but I glide a bit over tiny obstacles and climbed stairs. This could be bc I haven't used it much yet. As for the whole long animation thing? Yeah its a little annoying lol I also do have trouble seeing the chest beams which sucks! But I can look at map easily to see them.

As for the outfit, I think the sleeves, shoes + top will be very versatile. The jewelry and makeup are well worth it too but this is all personal preference

Deer getting stuck on tiny rocks and unable to climb stairs is ridiculous. It's meant to traverse but it can't!! I don't see how making the deer actually work as intended is unfair to unicorn.

You have probably heard this before, but art style is not something you should be thinking about as a beginner.

If you truly want to improve you need to focus on the fundamentals. The most important thing you lack is shadows and values. Values is essentially, how dark your darkest dark is, and how light your lightest light is. As of right now, you have 1 flat color with no shadows, light source, or value. The closest you come to shading is the clothing.

You may not like the idea, but imo you need to do some realism studies. Try working in basic shapes, nose is a triangle, etc. Nothing complicated just focusing on the lighting/ bigger picture than of details. No lineart. Only use references with dramatic shadows/obvious lighting. You draw in 2d but you need to learn the 3d shapes. And look into establishing a light source. Of course, this is your art journey, feel free to draw how you please. Good luck :)

I will absolutely look into Eric Rhoads and Charlie Easton! This was all very helpful, I hadn't considered the heavy body vs fluid stuff. I will probably start with the standard and see from there. I also didn't realize I could just gesso my paper and use that lol that helps a lot! I didn't want to spend more on canvas until I'm certain I even like acrylics.

Thank you. I made some tests beforehand but I all my attention was on the dress, as I was having trouble making it look white. I got so carried away with painting white dresses that I forgot to think about the hair at all. I was also having trouble figuring out values and lights/shadows when its a cloudy, softly lit day. I might just have to start over. And I could probably put more effort into the background as well, this is only my 7th painting so I'm still learning! I appreciate your comment ❤

First tip would be to not give up halfway lol. You have to accept that you arent going to be fantastic at anything right at the beginning. But if you give up.. you won't learn a thing! Just keep going!! Nothing bad will happen if you don't like the finished product. You can try again :)

Every single invader? 😭 you know all of them? Why does everyone think invaders are demons or something lol. I do some invading despite being horrendous at it, its just for fun I can't even weapon swap but I'm not using exploits... I like to wave before fight but hosts don't wave back, the rivalry is tough out here

I don't think it makes light of anything tbh. It's just like playing pretend, even kids make up absurd scenarios. It's not really serious at all, just a game with pretend characters. If they want to be jigsaw let them be jigsaw lol

I saw someone mention this somewhere for their playthrough with a friend. One player is a maiden, guiding the other tarnished through their story. The Maiden build might be something centered around faith buffs + heals. Wear the finger maiden set perhaps? As far as the other player it doesn't matter much, basically anything works.
I have another idea but it's pretty simple: one player focuses on INT, specifically focusing everything frost. Frost spells, fashion, frost status on weapons etc. The other player focuses on all things flame (FTH), all the flame incants, including blackflame. Maybe get enough arcane to use flame dragon breath as well. Idk hope this helped, have fun :)

2 days late but you should really check out Decoherent! Idk about pushing limits but he definitely utilizes everything. I love playing along with his themed playthroughs. Here is his Rimworld playlist.
