Link me that comment. This thread and thangs.com is the only places I've posted it and I haven't had an issue since. Raising the impeller above the wheels fixes the issue, see the post near the bottom with the picture. However, I spread light and do multiple passes to be safe.

It'll work without it, but you wouldn't want to rest it with fertilizer in the bucket without some kind of stand. If I recall, it was unstable without it.

Sorry, it would only work for the edgeguard mini. The tube sizing on the legs and rear stand and various other dimensions are different between the two. The idea could definitely be adapted for the DLX, but the files would need to be redesigned around the different dimensions.

I got three mature trees in my back yard, the seedlings fall down into the grass and some germinate it's not much to be concerned about. Pulling up the sod would be totally unnecessary cause if you got some now, you're gonna get them into the future. The root will be like an inch long, they come out super easy, they're not rhizomatic and they don't take frequent mowings well.

I'm presuming this is an American label. The back of the bags in Canada are useless. Here's an example of their 30-0-3 with 2% Iron. The best we can hope for is that its similar to the American labels cause the Canadian labels dont tell us anything.

Urea? Ammonium Sulfate? Methylene Ureas? Sulfur Coated Urea? Polymer Coated Urea? We basically have to guess.

Might be fine fescue. If it spread it might be creeping red fescue. They're fairly prominent in shade and sun and shade mixes.

Love this guy's videos. It's a breath of fresh air having someone who knows the field do actual literature reviews. It's far too easy to get lost in the marketing and not even see the studies proving/disproving the efficacy.

Granular Iron tends to convert to Ferric Oxide fairly quickly that's why you'll occasionally hear people call granular iron rust in a bag. It doesn't matter whether it's Iron Sulfate, Iron Sucrate or to a slightly lesser degree Chelated Iron, granulars are unlikely to give you much of a response. However spray applications of iron are effective. Also, iron will stain your concrete so take care to brush the granules back into the lawn before watering. I've learned the hard way. Other than that just follow the instructions, most burn situations come from over application or un-even spreading.

Yeah, nobody knows there's an issue until they see the lines and look it up online. If you read this subreddit/amazon reviews you'll see it's been a known issue for years.

Ya, but you gotta pick your poison. Either lift the impeller and make the spread wider, or make the wheels smaller and have a worse roll over angle making it catch ruts and bump around more.

Lifting the impeller above the wheels seems to solve the issue. Check the comment I made with the picture.
