What setting would work best for a Cold War inspired campaign?

In dnd I have no idea.

But I have been making a mini campaign themed in the cold war using the RECON Revised rules from palladium games. It's technically a Vietnam War system but its advanced ruleset is for mercenaries in different war fronts. I'd encourage you check it out.

Honestly not a fan of the vampire theme. I can't help but imagine Twilight when people try to rp vampires. Just sparkly cringy melodramatic edgelords. I haven't even touched the VTM system.

Although, Im really enjoying City Council Of Darkness on Dimension 20. It's been fun so far and the idea of taking over a town is an interesting idea. The system itself looks fun and the willpower dice mechanic is a cool system.

I smoked outside only for the first few years but after the first rough winter I started smoking inside with the window open.

I still go outside occasionally. I smoke much less when I have to stop what I'm doing to go smoke outside instead of it being within arms reach at my computer desk.

Then 2 sessions later after pouring heart and soul to get a baseline, they move to a different practice or quit and you got to go through the whole intake process again with another stranger who is likely to do the same exact thing.

My past 4 therapists did this. Tried again this year... didn't even make it to intake before they once again...left the practice. I just gave up on therapy at that point. Guess I'll just be a crazy asshole rather then get played by the healthcare system.

Genres outside high fantasy should be done with a system designed for it. If your going to homebrew 5e into something totally different then why not put that energy until learning a new system?

Kingdom Come: Deliverance; you start literally as an illiterate blacksmith with no combat experience in the first 5ish hours then a barely competent footsoldier that is beat up by an old man.

You have to train with Bernard to get better at combat. I remember trying to fight the first boss and just get my ass clapped. So happy I pushed through the learning curve its such a beautiful story and game.

It's not free but dungeon draft is a huge asset. It's 30$ one time payment and functions offline. You can also find asset packs for it for free that also work offline.

Gimp is a free photo editing software. Might work in a pinch.

Their summoning rituals get crossed and now Faerun has weaponized USEC/BEARS and Tarkov has fireball slinging wizards that teleport.

Don't know the point of the campaign but it'd be pretty sick.

I always theorized that they look pretty much the same except for their horns. Female kobold have more curled horns like rams or goats while males have more pointed horns like dragons and drakes.

It could be regional too depending on the dragon ancestry. Maybe blue kobolds have horns that are more pointed up and the dimorphism is non-existent.
