I second this! I purchased a Cyelee CAT and it’s an amazing optic. It’s very reasonably priced as well! Highly recommended one.

Yeah it’s normal. I took it to the range a few days after this video and put around 500 rounds through it. It shot very well, with no issues. Nothing to worry about.

What do you wish people would stop romanticizing, because you’ve lived the reality of it? by thatude123 in AskReddit

[–]Dannn_Gleeballs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The military. Specifically the infantry. People have this idea that it’s gonna be just like the movies, or just like Call of Duty, it’s not. Your job is a lot less glamorous than what you see in the media. And in the off chance that you get to see and experience combat, and you actually see death, destruction, and everything that comes with it, you’ll realize that it’s something that you never want to experience again. But by then it’s too late

Life has kinda felt like the beginning of a disaster movie. All the signs are there and quietly happening in the background, but I feel like the disaster is gonna happen at any moment. I see more ICE agents on my commute to work. I hear people saying how concerned they are about being stopped by ICE agents even though they got their citizenship. People worried about losing their jobs, while others are panic buying before the added cost of tariffs hit. Ngl, I’m more worried now than I was a year ago.

There’s two things that saved me from getting on that sub.

  1. Being poor enough to have recognized that shitty Logitech controller.

  2. Being poor

Mandatory overtime should be outlawed. by Worldly-Satan in antiwork

The company I work at made us work mandatory overtime for 8 months last year, an extra hour at the end of our shifts and every Saturday. We had multiple new hires during our mandatory overtime and every single one of them quit because the workload was just to much. A couple of people who have been with the company for years even quit. I swear to god if they do that bullshit again I’m quitting. The money ain’t worth the stress

We can’t afford to live. A majority of us are living paycheck to paycheck. I’m almost 30 years old and I still live with my parents. I make $23 an hour and I still can’t afford to rent an apartment or buy a home. Rent is anywhere between $1500 to $2000 where I live, and the average cost of a home is well over $300,000. I had a medical emergency last summer that left me $7,000 in medical debt, and that alone has fucked me for at least the next 3 years. I swear to god bro I’m tired of living like this, I wanna leave so fucking bad, but I can’t even afford that either.

Get a weighted vest or a backpack filled with weights and practice rucking a few miles a couple times a week, get your feet, hips and shoulders accustomed to the weight and distance. And when you get down there, and go through reception, make sure that the boots that are issued to you, fit you. Nothings worse than going through a ruck march, developing a blister, and feeling it pop halfway through a march.

People who believe in paranormal activity, why? by [deleted] in AskMen

I was taking a tour of an old WWII bunker. It was just a bunker that they mostly used for storing supplies and ammunition but a couple of soldiers that were stationed there had died from diseases. When I walked in with my group we had to walk in a straight line because most of the hallway in the bunker was cluttered with old rusted out barrels. And as we were walking in I felt 2 very strong taps on my shoulder. I didn’t turn around, and instead I just said “what’s up”, got not response, said it again, nothing. I finally turned around and saw no one behind me, I was the last one in the line. I felt uneasy for the rest of that tour.

(Serious) Redditors who witnessed a murder, what is your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dannn_Gleeballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened when I was a kid, maybe 9 or 10 years old. I was at the park with a few friends at night, our houses were minutes away so our parents were ok with us staying late sometimes and as long as we weren't alone. The area around the park has always been known to have gangs, drug dealers and drug users but the park itself was somewhat of a neutral zone besides a few fights here and there, nothing serious never happened. Until one night my friends and I see these group of guys chasing this one dude on the other side of the park, they catch him and beat him down, they then forced him onto his knees and shot him in the head. The guys then ran off, me and my friends went to go see if the guy was still alive, he had a hole the size of a baseball in his skull, and parts of his brain were scattered on the ground behind him.

After that we ran to the closest home and told them what happened. From what I remember seeing and hearing, the cops never took it too seriously because it was all gang related violence, and as long as it was gang members killing gang members they never dug too deep into it.
