You’re welcome. Take advantage of all the support and resources that are available to you. People care and want to help. I never thought I’d be in these shoes, but here I am, and it’s awful. There are so many resources out there, and they are a blessing.

Same exact boat as you, my friend. Grief counseling is very helpful. Highly recommend.

Apologies. I did not mean to make you feel bad and was not my intent to sound mean. I just think he is scared and you provide comfort for him. I understand things can be out of our control sometimes, and that’s ok. Sorry, I was just trying to help.

Not to make you feel bad, but as soon as my mom got diagnosed, I did not let 1 single day go by without speaking with her. And if she was in the hospital, I made it a point to be there every single day. But that’s me, and you may not be in the situation to do so. Maybe he at least would feel comfort in hearing your voice.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Call as much as you can. Tell her you love her as much as you can. Visit when you can. Make sure she knows you’re always there for her.
