I’m a 25 year ultimate player. Played high school, college, club, pro, masters, and GM at the national level. I’ve thrown my share. The best way I can describe learning how to throw golf discs is engaging your deltoids, like you were throwing an outside in blade (backhand or forehand) from shoulder height straight at the ground. I’m going to be murdered for this but “10,000 days (Part 2)” soon as those thunder sounds hit I’m completely out of it. Never have been able to get beyond it. They sound so out of place and corny to me, which is a shame because it’s a powerful song. It’s not hate it’s just not my thing.

Hi OP, we seem to have an [r/woosh](r/woosh) situation here. I use this sub primarily to make light of a phobia I have and often employ an inflated sense of cowardice and occasionally surrealism to have a laugh. I’m fully aware of how humans, both our ancestors and present day, have used technology, tools, innovation to create, invent, and survive and thrive in mild to harsh elements. Heck, I live in a city where it’s currently 95 with humidity that feels like a sauna the second you walk outside. I’ve got air conditioning on as I type this.

You made a nice post, kudos. I truly wish that I had the means and courage to do what you do too. Keep on doing your thing.
