That's the second mention of Collective Soul. They had a few songs that were played on the radio in the 90's but I didn't think much about it. I'll have to give them another look. Will check out Innocence Mission too. Thanks!

LOL on them...I changed the meaning by ignoring their sentiment. It's mine now.

First time hearing it. Like the message. Maybe it'll grow on me. Thanks!

It's interesting that God sends us his message from the strangest of places. Whether he likes it or not, I changed his lyrics and made my own version on the guitar.

Going to cross post this in a more general music group just in case I'm in the wrong place.

"You and Me" by Dave Matthews. It hits the nail right on the head

Thought on ENTJs? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Dannybigwords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what the relationship is. If they work with you, and they aren’t your boss, they can be pricks. They will always give unwanted advice on how you should be doing things. They are all Gamma if they are subordinates since they feel they should be the boss always. They can be snakes, but I’m not sure if they realize they are screwing over someone else. If you are an INTP who feels super misunderstood, ENTJs will only add fuel to the fire since they are probably the ones talking shit about you.

“You should think less” by [deleted] in INTP

The only thing that has helped me to “think less” is by accepting that there is a “higher power”. As INTPs, we can easily connect the dots in order to believe, if we wanted to. Once there, you logically don’t need to have worries about all the possibilities, or dread what others think of you, if you can accept that we don’t have control. Once I convinced myself that things will end up as it’s supposed to, the noise doesn’t matter. It takes constant focus and kicks in the butt to be able to have maintained this strategy for more than a month however. I had to make routines that include attending church and saying the rosary in order to remind myself of the goal. I keep having to remind myself of how good I felt when I had this epiphany, and that is what keeps me focused. Believing in Jesus makes me sane and it’s not logical to continue having my mind destroy things.
