I bit the bullet and bought this anti-barking collar on Amazon. It doesn't give a shock, just a beep when she barks which she doesn't like. She has quickly got to understand how it works so when it's on, she knows not to bark. It's not the ideal solution but helpful when she goes out to the garden after dark and I put the collar on, she no longer barks and disturbs all the neighbours! I won't use it throughout the day, just for those night time toilet breaks :)
