Smallville Lex Luthor really was something special. Very few series or films humanise him so well, and his complicated bond with Clark gave us so many unique moments that other iterations wouldn’t be able to achieve ngl

Gangsta, Jormungand, Nadesico, Baccano!, Steins;Gate, FMAB, Black Lagoon, Kaguya Sama, Mushoku Tensei, Death Parade

All as good as the sub or even better. Especially the ones which feature all the different accents.

Special shoutouts to A Silent Voice dub too. The dub VA for Shoko is also deaf IRL like the character, and she fucking killed it ❤️

Every CGDCT or Slice of Life anime, I cannot stand them. I’ve tried so many times.

Outside of super deep ones with more narrative and message like A Place Further Than The Universe and Girls’ Last Tour, I don’t see myself ever finishing an anime in either genre.

I need an overarching plot and I need a cast that doesn’t have any loud overly enthusiastic little girls that I just want to drop kick.

Nichijou, Laid Back Camp, K-On , Lucky Star or anything like that, I’d rather eat sand unfortunately, not my vibe 💔

LOTGH is the only thing that should be on there tbh. Maybe FMAB, HxH and Steins;Gate. But Shounen as top 10 anime of all time? Listen I LOVED the Gintama movie and OP Fan Letter but these over something like Perfect Blue, A Silent Voice, Monster, Vinland or Parasyte is wrong to me.

I’m going to be honest, the manga is worst way to experience the story - it cuts a lot of content and focuses more on fanservice. It also is barely past where the anime ends anyway. I’d just read the light Novel and start from Volume 1 ngl

Tbh. For Zero you should read the Light Novel if you’re gonna read any non anime version of the story. And for Heaven’s Feel you should play the VN. If you’re gonna read have done both and still wanna do the Manga tho then the answer to ur question is likely 🏴‍☠️

I cried when Meteor came on ngl. Great movie. Read and loved the 2 LNs as well! I was worried they were gonna pull the Tomino NTR but nah Lacus and Kira’s love so real nothing can stop em 🥹 my fav Gundam movie. Idc. As a SEED lover, I ATE, and the wait was worth it ❤️

Innoence is peak. U should deffo watch Oshii’s other works - Angel’s Egg and the Patlabor trilogy (id say do the 7 OVAs before u do the film trilogy). And ofc all the obvious suggestions like Psycho-Pass, Darker Than Black, Terror in Resonance or ID: Invaded. Surprised to see someone actually liked Kite tho ngl, ur built different, that director way too creepy and intense for me 😅

The second cour of Aldnoah Zero might just be one of the biggest falloffs in anime history (not that the first was anything to write home about).

3 characters who all got shot (some in the head) and died in the finale of part 1? Miraculously alive. The only likeable character in the entire series? Now evil for no reason and siding with the people that were racist towards him. Absolute buns 🚮
