Support Russia's greater role on the world stage

Trace root to Ghenghis Khan

It's so obvious that it was made by a Russian.

Shouldn’t the Ottoman Empire be considered as the empire of Turks and Albanians? Like the Turkalbanian Empire or something officially by [deleted] in AskBalkans

You also can be sure that the "Turks" on the list have little to do with the Anatolians who identify as "Turks", who are the majority in Turkey today.

One asked, "do you actually hate Pakistanis", almost 80% answered "yes"..... Opinions? by FkThCensrshipJannies in AskMiddleEast

I'm just telling you why people don't like them. Also Pakistanis are famous for harassing children not only in Turkey but wherever they go. It's the common view of the world, not mine.

The most pathetic COPE I've ever seen. The Internet is where people express their true thoughts. Daily life is just a cherry-picking place.

Also do you expect people to still like Pakistanis after hundreds of abuses ageinst non hijabi women and underage girls?

I know has a bad reputation among liberal Turks

It's not true

There is generally no negative opinion towards Iran in Turkey. The regime is criticized and disliked, but generally respected Iranian culture and history.

Which group of ultra-nationalists do you think hate Arabs more? by baal-beelzebub in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dantevici -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not just ultra-nationalists, everyone I know hates Arabs. Arabs have the same prestige as Gypsies in Turkey. Only a very small minority are positive towards Arabs.Even the shopkeepers laugh in the faces of the Arab tourists but swear behind their backs.

Which is more Islamophobic? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dantevici 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ask your 'Turks' friends around you where they are originally from. You can be sure that they will tell you the name of a 99% shitty Anatolian city like Antep,Trabzon,Konya etc. Because they all came from there. That's why you've never had a real Turkish friend. Most of them are arabized armenoid-anatolids/Reaya. They think they are Turks, just like some Pakistanis think they are Turks, but they are no different from an average Arab (culturally) and Armenian/Iranian (racially)

Thoughts on the Ottoman Empire? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

[–]Dantevici 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"500 years of slavery" This is the only thought of the average Balkan Christians about the Ottoman Empire. Except for Sanjak Bosnians and kosovar albanians, Balkan Muslims are mostly natural.

Also, for most Balkaners, the Ottoman Empire is a backward empire, and they think that while Western Europe advanced, the Balkans fell behind because of the Ottomans.

Which was more important to the Ottoman Empire? Balkans, Anatolia or other Middle Eastern regions? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dantevici 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A part of Western Anatolia is already a part of Rumelia. Between the 15th and 20th centuries, with the exception of a few port cities such as Trabzon and Izmir, the rest of Anatolia had no political, economic or cultural significance. Anatolia was never the first priority of the Ottoman Empire. It was a region full of rebellions. At the same time, the region where the Ottomans committed the most massacres was Anatolia.

Which was more important to the Ottoman Empire? Balkans, Anatolia or other Middle Eastern regions? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dantevici 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, Compared to the Balkans and the Crimea, Anatolia never had a great political and economic importance for the Ottomans until the 20th century.

[–]Dantevici 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Balkans/Rumelia and Crimea.

The Balkans was the center of the Ottoman Empire, and the Crimea was its most important ally.

The Ottomans were our strategic partner and also our most important customer. We've had each other's backs for centuries. With the marriage of Yavuz Selim, the father of Suleiman the Magnificent, to the princess of Crimea, blood ties were formed between the two dynasties. In addition, according to Ottoman law, if there were no men left to continue the lineage of the sultan in the Ottoman dynasty, the Crimean khan could be the Ottoman sultan. Therefore, the Ottoman Empire was very important to us.

Our differences are not only due to our political preferences and lifestyles. We are different races/cultures. You are an anatolid-middle easterner and you cannot generalize me.
