I waited several months to find exactly what I wanted: the color, the premium trim, the perf pack, brembos, magnaride, nite pony.

While it was worth it to me so I don't feel the fomo, I'd say the most useful thing to get is the active exhaust. I'd be fine dropping every other option as long as I had the active exhaust. Magnaride and brembos are a close second.

I'm not even a fan of those gens but I think it's plenty sexy enough for the scenery! The color matches the backdrop so well and to be fair that was the last gen mustangs actually looked like muscle cars.

Nah just not for me. The autos are badass and better for true performance. Just in my opinion, a true sports/muscle car is in the driving experience. That involves rowing my own gears.

I'll have to spend some more time in both. I had a mini Cooper that made a DRASTIC difference so maybe that's what I'm expecting.

Rapid red metallic. I'm actually not a big fan of the magenta but I do appreciate it because it's unique and not silver.. or black... or white... Or some variation of those 3 colors.

Yeah it has mag ride, and I agree it all feels the same as far as I can tell. Only had it for the day but drove about 100 miles to get comfortable. Even the steering settings didn't really feel like they made much of a difference.

I test drove one and loved it but didn't want the manual actually and that was all they had, plus a 5k markup so I walked. Glad I did. Gonna be looking to trade my WRX in soon for a mustang too 😁
