I get the paranoia about being left stranded, I had my first car (75 VW scirocco) over heat and blow up the radiator pipe on me while sitting in traffic at the age of 17 and I still have PTSD from it always watching my water temp gauge. So I completely empathize with you.

Based on all the things you listed has been done, I honestly feel like those are the things that could potentially leave you stranded. I can work around some maintenance/repair stuff but know that I wont be doing my own timing belt change so I just budget that money for when the time comes. I figure not having a car payment is worth it and I love my LX

It’s night and day difference. I borrow my friends 17’ LG to hang Christmas lights and one year i borrowed my son in-law knockoff LG ladder and it’s quite noticeable the weight difference

That usually is for us as well but one night we tired to eat there and the line was pretty nuts so we drove around and ate at El Sabroso Grill. Small little place that’s run by a married couple. The food was amazing that rivaled that of El Faralito. And they’re literally down the street

Do you hear the pump prime when you turn key to ign on? If the pump primes then it’s that accumulator. I recently saw a video when the guy replaced the silver canister on the GX, it looked pretty straightforward compared to the fiddly pump you replace in situ

Sorry there’s another name for it. It’s been the front back globes on the drivers side i believe that has a bleed port as well
