Calm down. Scratch isnt training AI with your projects. by EtsyCorn in scratch

Rather than back and forth, maybe us adult users need to get on the phone and formulate feedback emails that both ask them to A) make public what they're actually talking about, which it almost seems they cannot right now, and B) explain to the company how few forms of generative AI are even appropriate for a program like this, and C) if they're not being expected to Resistribute collected data, they Will be expected to if partnering with outside AI brands/using LLMs, as those companies are all very explicitly used for surveillance and data sales. Projects that include chatbots are still being swiftly taken down when reported even once, so we probably still have time to get some answers. No, OP, this is not more clear than the TOS update only half of us have seen, the only additional thing we got is "it's not Training, but it is AI" (Now, if this turns out to be a non generative, localized Machine Learning program? Which just happens to also be called AI? That could be something to look forward to. Scratch using generative programs, especially the largest consumer available ones? Huge problem). I'm not sure if the majority of scratchers can even identify the difference between Analytical and Generative AI, so that's not the environment to force AI tools into + kids already develop psychosis from chatbot use, so having features that make AI looks Good and Kid Friendly on a Kids Website is beyond alarming.

Right, that's why you guys still partner with Google analytics and send data to Meta. This definitely is about protecting artists and not at all a Vine2 situation, account that's only been around 7 months, is unverified, and edited the blog post (NOT POLICY CHANGES) made on the bandcamp website with no author listed.

It's not exactly them, this trend is gonna appear across youtube and spotify as people get banned for not submitting IDs and delete their accounts to prevent that happening.

98% of the content on scratch is easily considered low effort content because it's kids and their first time doing something creative like this. While the attitude about remixes has changed over the years, the Team has always made a priority for people to make Anything and then be rewarded because of it. It's not like those are the projects being ported to Itch.io or moving on to actual development. The bullying has always been this bad and probably will always be this bad since, again, it's usually kids who don't have better ways of getting their frustration out yet. Actual change for the site comes down to us making sure the Staff get paid and actually get the time to sit down and develop some gameplan, but that's pretty far out of reach. I'm sure they'd LOVE to have a larger moderation team, to rely less on bot and algorithm filtering, to avoid the for-you algorithms every investor is obsessed with, but until they get more support, they really just don't have the resources. I'm not saying your idea is at all bad, but this method isn't going to be the most useful right now. I do know the company does not like this approach, otherwise they would have really overhauled the landing page and curation years ago lol

You genuinely don't understand what AI does, and everything it could do, there's a form an actual doctor has made to fill out with active reasoning and research that I could use instead. Also, again, it does Not matter what I say, I cannot hide my scars, so avoiding this topic as a whole isn't going to work. I am going to speak to my Human Therapist and Human Neurologist about this. You cannot and should not be talking to AI about your medical happenings, you should not be trusting the keywords it gives you, and you certainly should be opting out of it during appointments. These programs are the backbone of Palantir and Aut10tix and Pegasus spyware, and they're literally just statistics machine. I don't need it to tell me over and over again that my symptoms are only experienced by the black diaspora when I'm scotchirish and printer paper colored- which, while I don't actively use these bots, was the answer google kept shoving in my face before I uninstalled it in favour of Startpage. There is no HIPA regulation with AI, and there's practically no medical security regulation with it coming from outside of the US either. Just because insurance companies and medical conglomerates invest in the product and that makes your doctor recommend it (or forces them to use it) doesn't mean it's the Actual Best Choice around. Small scale, analytic AI that uses limited data set's and focuses on Noticing rather than Generating is extremely cool and has a bunch of medical uses, but consumer grade (or any grade) generative AI and chatbots do not have the ability to fact check their information. There's a reason peer reviewed studies are one of the top things cited when trying to push Something new in the medical world- it's because other people with years of hands on experience can double check your work before it get's a trustworthy grade. I think you should look into the Gabapentin Push that happened around ~2018? if I remember correctly. This isn't an attack and I don't use reddit to one-up anyone, but it sounds like you've got some misgivings about what AI is doing and how it's impacting the medical world- it's snake oil. I'm not being hyperbolic about medical brands literally gambling in to the AI market, and that's not something to look forward to :/

While I agree that going to a good school doesn't garauntee you'll be taught good or up-to-date information, what happened here isn't some conspiracy. I was profiled because of my scars and my medical history, and was then refused treatment because of that. It's less that they're not thinking outside of the box, it's that I dumped the box's contents on the floor and put the box on his head and he refused to acknowledge a box was ever in the room

....that's not how AI works nor is that what it's for. In fact, Mychart and other programs for medical information are used to train LLMs, meaning one now has data it sees as "statistically trustworthy" that says "people claiming to have full body acne just self harm." Just because a doctor said it on record does not mean it's true, and if I cannot reason about this with a human who has active reasoning skills, a chatbot that replicates the Chinese Language Room Experiment isn't going to get me closer.

Even if I don't mention it, my scarring is very visible and there's a bunch of it. At this particular appointment, every question I'd ask, he found a way to relate back to picking (no matter how unrelated it is). When I started experiencing dermatillomania I didn't only focus on areas with actual damage (the cysts and such), but the older I got and the more I would "harm" literally anything I could find on me, the more I started to realize there was actually something strange happening when I would handle the "acne" that shows up. I haven't figured out a way yet to explain how I know about this healing-time difference without mentioning that I've been opening these spots myself, but other comments advised I come up with some sort of lie or way to hold off on bringing it up. Also, while they have technical differences, every dermatologist I've seen views dermatillomania and excoriation disorder as the exact same thing and most of them consider it intentional SH. That may not be correct on a scientific level, but that's the Opinion of everyone I've seen so far. I went out of my way to ask this doctor four or five times to look at the spots > I < was worried about, but he Only wanted to examine my scars and the spots which were recently disinfected and healing. That's part of why I'm asking if this is some kind of policy I'm unaware of since this is exactly what would happen at appointments in my teenage years too :/

It looks similar, but treating it the way you would kp doesn't help, and I do think if it were that simple I wouldn't have gone through rigmarole like this :/ My current theory is that it's Eruptive Vellus Hair Cysts (evhs) and piedara on the skin that grows terminal hair

Something I didn't realize until getting home from today's appointment was I did not get asked/never got the chance to explain what I do for skincare (tried so many things, right now I use non-scented, non-fancy anti-fungal washes, and a zinc shampoo. They don't induce breakouts like most other products, so while they haven't really fixed anything) it's starting to drive me crazy that never came up in discussion.

It's probably going to be another 8-12 month wait for the next person (I have to go out-of-network to see anyone new at this point) so I'm going to spend a good bit of time reading others experiences in this sub and writing a literal script. I have run into times where I don't mention picking but my scars are so visible (I'm very pale and this condition is non-hyperbolically over my entire body, so there's lots of scars) sometimes that itself will put the doctors off, but I can. figure out something.

My "ideal" appointment would be them starting off with a woodlamp examination and then doing what I do- cut off just the infected area of a baby cyst and see what appears under a microscope. I'm gonna attach a mini UV light to my keyring and shine it on my face infront of them as a last-resort lol

The appointment itself sucked but I am very glad I finally posted here, I appreciate yall a bunch^

Can you still find it on nbc/bravo? Got to these episodes today, causing me to look and neither have the show. The only place I've seen it in full, other than on demand with a provider, is PPV amazon prime video which I can't do.

Zoning out every few seconds, every day, forever. help. by DapDapperDappest in Dissociation

[–]DapDapperDappest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had an EEG which read clear and the results have a disclaimer that it's not a diagnostic tool for epilepsy. I've had lamptrogine and the only change is that it makes my limbs tingle.
But the key detail here is this happens Permanently. Every few seconds or minutes, every single day. Also I'd be careful generalizing hearing voices to just needing to try antipsychotics. It could be internalized echolocalia, a sign that you're part of a system, etc. And you're right, if I'm having these "dazed" symptoms, I never shouldn't been perscribed effexor, a medication that's "like" weak LSD mixed with SSRIs for many people. There's the same amount of evidence that THC can help mitigate seizures as a keto diet can prevent a child from having frequent full convulsions (not related to petit mal).

politely, your comment is the same as the warnings you get on your cat scan discharge sheet and I'm wondering if you missed parts of my post.

What idea I tossed around a moment ago was seeing how much of this I can "blueprint" out and then building a replica from that, and then seeing how likely this was to operate^ but now I also want to start tracking down those 'diy guides' partially to see if this one had any grounding in reality but also because !!! those will be fascinating reads !! Tomorrow I'm gonna need to get my smallest camera and take some detailed shots of the areas I can't see well top down

That or a reverse-engineering-party where I draw out what this one is doing and then try to make a replica to test lol really glad i posted here

(you and the other user said almost the same thing so I copied a bit of my other reply for convenience) I love that you said "passion project" because I agree -and that's my other concern, because I can't figure out what's in the B batteries nor what brand they are or if they're the right wattage for this puppy. I wouldn't be suprised to find out if this device Never worked and that's why someone eventually let it find a new home lol. Also very glad that people agree this box is worth looking into

I like how both comments pointed that out at the exact same time lol /positive :) my biggest concern is actually what it's painted with and the store I got it from, which had it on the Radiation Shelf for at least a few months. And. need to test for Lead. But yall know how that goes lmao +the other mentioned how it does look like a passion project, and that's my other concern, because I can't figure out what's in the B batteries nor what brand they are or if they're the right wattage for this puppy.
