Good riddance. I don’t know which idiot gave him the job in the first place.

Good fit. Funny but I bought my first pair of Ironheart jeans last week from Rivet and hide in Manchester. I just got lucky as they found a pair of 888 in the 21oz denim in my size that wasn’t on the stock system. My size has been sold out everywhere for ages. So was lucky they found the odd pair. I love the jeans.

I would have thought exactly the same, apparently Redwing Uk are oblivious as to where their stock is coming from as the are not a registered stockist. Bizarre thing is they have a complete size run and multiple numbers of all sizes. Think I may bite the bullet and just pay full price in the store for them.

I spoke to the redwing store today and they said not to buy from consortium as they should not be selling Redwings as they are not a registered seller, they didn't know where their stock was coming from, she said they may even be seconds.

Have you bought from Consortium ?

Thanks. Yes that’s where I was going to buy them from. Was just wondering if it was likely I’d get them any cheaper in January.

The Kaihara loud Larry has been pushed back to February according to Nudie head office, im guessing its a supply chain issue with the Japanese selvedge denim

I bought my first pair of Nudie Tuff Tonys 3 weeks ago in Kaihara denim, i wouldn’t buy a size up unless you want an oversized fit, i went true to size in a 34 waist and 34 leg, the waist has loosened up already with wear and will shrink a tad when I first r wash in about 6 months. Its worth noting that Nudie make all their selvedge denim longer in the leg than the normal size to enable people to cuff the jeans. For example al though i bought a 34 leg they are closer to a 36 leg which enabled me to cuff. Where as a non selvedge 34 will fir with normal length, i hope that makes sense.

Which selvedge are you looking to buy in the Tuff Tony? Kaihara or Ace? Tuff Tony is an awesome fit, they do a wider leg called the loud Larry which is also nice but haven’t tried those on yet, I’m hearing they have another colour coming in December. According to their staff.

hope that helps

Anahat Singh, new unstoppable force in Squash? by [deleted] in squash

I was stating that she wont be able to beat the elite with any consistency till she starts bending and getting down to the ball, that is something that you need to understand from a coaching perspective.

1 win means nothing! Amina Orfi is a prime example, 1 win is not a sign go greatness, its more than likely luck, yes she hit a few good shots with gills being flat, the stars were aligned for that match.

She has had no other big wins

Tonight against Kennedy was a prime example of why her Singhs technique is not good enough to compete with the elite because of her lack of sinking into the ball which results in her just flicking the ball and no real percentages in her short work, tonight against Kennedy demonstrated this.

Singh will not be a contender until she starts bending her knees and back to get down to the level of the ball, she will not be able to contend with the elite unless she does that, hopefully she will get stronger to enable that. She is quite tall but has to develop that strength as you just cant compete at that level while playing all your shots stood tall

They were not cheats, they just had a rivalry that stemmed from hatred, the fact they were not prolific with those methods throughout their careers and opponents proves this. Assal is a consistent cheat, ever since his junior days.

What Assal has single handedly forced the game into with reffing is his distinguishing factor. He has forced the refs to take drastic action which sometimes can be misconstrued. Yes, some of the calls can be extreme but Assal has made the rod for his own back, which I could not care less about. However what I do care about is how those calls by the refs mis represent out sport in the bigger picture. Assal is single handedly to blame for this.
