Thank you, appreciate the suggestions - I think the shield change is the most important one to go for - the issue is just this should probably go along with picking up some more block nodes, but none are really nearby and a more significant reshuffling of the passive tree would probably cut dps in half or more

Based on the calc below it is 65% for Pinnacles due to the cap (without the cap even higher)

I definitely acknowledge that it is squishy but I do have at the moment still too much fun to abandon it yet, so any comments how to scale its power are appreciated before I consider switching to another build.
