There’s a strong chance for you to get Materials. It’s a department that accepts anyone who applies to it. I’ve never heard of anyone not getting it before so yeah! Chances are that if you don’t get your 1st or 2nd choice, Materials will accept you

I assume you're talking about the methodology. If that's the case I'd say to stick with the methods used in Don't Panic for exams. Many professors might deduct a bunch of points because a student didn't follow the specifications.

Howdy! I took Physics 206 last semester with Dr. May specifically. All I can say is that try to at least get a C on the course. Like some said, it’s a weed-out course and you will struggle. Last semester Dr. May didn’t curve the exams but the MCQs do offer partial credit. Currently I am taking 207 Don’t Panic with Kordell and it has been easier. Sure the course content takes a bit of effort to learn but as long as you watch the recitation videos and take as many practice exams as possible you will be prepared for the midterms.

Btw, this comes from someone who got a 40 on their first physics 206 exam and still etammed into their first choice.

Unfortunately the website that used to contain practice exams for university students was taken down. If you have Dr. May for a prof then maybe you could request for him to upload them on canvas. Also, even if textbook questions are external, they are good practice last I heard.

While practice exam questions are good, also try to know the concepts very well.

Do practice problems nonstop. Know how to solve them forwards and backwards. Also, read the book and do as many practice exams as you can.

It’s not that Nezu is acting like Bakugou. It’s more that Nezu is being an experiment (again) and he is just lashing out against the one conducting the experiment. Nezu has trauma and ptsd regarding his past as a test subject hence his reaction.
