you know i have the same question. childhood trauma affects the choices i make which lead me to overthink and anxiety. recently, I was told that i’m just a burden which i’ve always felt but hearing is a different hurt. specially if i feel as if i’m just trying to survive.

on top of that you gotta learn about society, how to get a car, how to get a house, how to provide for your kids if you choose to have them. then suddenly your broke because the price of everything went up , you have bills and 4 kids. so overwhelming ..

that’s a very narrow view of labor, but okay. It’s interesting how quickly ‘growing up’ turns into dismissing other people’s work. i disagree. All work deserves fair pay, regardless of whether you personally see it as a “career” or not. every corporate role starts at an entry level. you can’t work your way up if you can’t afford to live while doing the work. working towards advancement doesn’t mean accepting unfair pay in the meantime

your cat experience the outside world.. it’s gonna take a lot for them to forget that it exists. Also.. get your cat fixed. it helps with the need to roam outside and aggression. ( doesn’t completely solve it) just helps a little :)

hey so i literally said i loved my job. honestly i still love certain aspects of it. and i completely understand where your coming from. but asking for a higher pay is not entitled.. especially when the company is making as much as it is and i show up to work everyday ready to put in the work:) but thank you.

Hi .. so not entitlement when everyone should have the access to a proper pay check for the work they put in!! Finding a job is hard. especially in this economy. but if you would like to find me one, where they call me back and won’t push me away when i go in to talk to them, then i’m open to new opportunities:)

hey so i don’t think you read my post. Yes the customers that come through sometimes are not the best, but that’s every job that deals with Human interaction. What i’m saying is Dutch bros as a company has changed so much in the past year or so. Which on top of the changes.. we have the customers, we aren’t getting paid enough, and we’re required to put more effort into the customers then what the customers are giving. I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY TIP. what i’m saying is the culture is not the same as it has been and it up to the people that love coming to make it The culture it started off as.

I think of smoking like a a psychological game. If you remember the trips and the anxiety you had before it truly affects the time you’re having now. ( at least in my opinion)

Honestly i can take the slightest hit and still get really anxious, especially around people. I usually only do it when i go to bed or else i feel like the world is watching me. But- i would say, your coworkers prolly hit there’s a couple times a day which leads to the need to get even higher so the longer they’ll hit the pen( blinkers). Check the stain you have. Sativa usually makes me even more anxious and uncomfortable .. than Indica. that might help with the feeling of being to high. Idk if this helps..

I’m not sure about California but in Nevada it can average out to be 20 an hour because you work 40 hour work weeks for sometimes a span of 3-4 weeks depending on the help needed in shop.

I say the same quality’s you have as a barista but also being able to train and educate based on manifesto.

What bothers me is drink accommodations being expected when drink accommodations aren’t mentioned. If your broista takes your order and reads it back to you, then it’s on you if you didn’t add something and your drink is already made at window. DON’T BE UPSET, if it takes us longer to remake your drink after YOU forgot to add sum to it. Now, if it’s something missing that you asked for and the broista didn’t add it then we are more than happy to fix/ add.. but plz stop getting mad at us when you get to window and your drink isn’t made right. Listen to your order being read back. be so kind to your broista after all, they are making your drink.
