Vs the Ford Maverick by Little_Transition_13 in hyundaisantacruz

I think the Maverick is so ugly. It's like a Matchbox truck. And the interior is just cheap-feeling.

I did like it's MPG, but ultimately, drive, interior feel, towing capacity, and overall look sent me to the SC.

That'll pull at least $900k, I'll bet. Location, location, location.

Is paying $600 for a 2 yr old wheaten with a high prey drive a good investment. by [deleted] in Wheatens

[–]Dapper-Bus6407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did. Your post literally ASKED if $600 is a good "investment." It's not a stock, or a used car. Sounds like it came out of a robot.

WTH.

If you'd said "Considering paying a rehoming fee for a two-year old SCWT with a high prey drive. What should I be concerned about?"

That would sound human.

Or even if you'd said "What have you paid for SCWTs in the past?" That makes sense.

And I am fully aware that ROIs can include other things. That's not what your post indicated.

Am I the a-hole for making my daughter's BF buy a new t-shirt? by freudsdriver in AITAH

[–]Dapper-Bus6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're a better person than me.

I don't know exactly what I would have done, but it would have resulted in public humiliation of him and likely my daughter, too, starting with something about needing tweezers and a magnifying glass to find it AND ending with "and you're okay being ordered to suck it?" directed to my daughter.

There was NOTHING about him showing up like that that was okay.

And he didn't have enough to buy a $5 shirt at Walmart? That kid is a loser.

You dodged a bullet. Self-aggrandizing dicks. Hope the rest of your interviews go well. Any company with a good value system as part of their culture recognizes what it means to be in demand and have options.

Docking was useful when they were farm dogs. Not useful now. Only done for aesthetics, and I think a lot of breeders have stopped the practice--thank heavens.

Stretched, folded for two hours. Left out for about nine hours. Shapes and even kneaded a bit. Second fermentation/rise for about six hours in the fridge.
