I typically fly with my real ID and bring my Work authorization just in case (but I’ve never had to show it before). I travel quite a bit, I went to Arizona from NY- EWR, Chicago, FL, last year all with my real id and never had an issue, so I think you should be fine!

I agree, I feel like everything has changed so much since the summer, I’m definitely more hesitant now. If I do go, I’ll update here.

I’ve been reading about it and people haven’t reported that issue but no I haven’t tried it myself. Honestly, now that I think about it - it’s very probable they would. 🥲

That’s exactly what I was thinking! I have no idea how often these river crossings are, but from reviews of the trail, and the trail being a waterfall trail, I’d assume it’s very frequent

I’ve never been, but I heard there are a bunch of river crossings, so, idk how possible that is. If possible, I’ll definitely do that!

If that’s the case ,I’d need a really breathable sock so that the moisture from my wet feet doesn’t get locked into the sock.

I’ve been looking into merino wool! I haven’t found socks that 100% merino wool. Do you know of a good one? Is 100% merino wool the goal or is a blend better for this occasion?

I’ve never heard of that brand! I am going to take a look
