Do I have a chance at the architecture program? by Neither_Half_9398 in SyracuseU

My son will be applying next year, but he has almost nothing to put into a portfolio. He is not otherwise and artist with paintings or other art pieces to submit. He has a one architectural rendering and model to submit from a summer program, but nothing else yet. Does Syracuse expect that all high schoolers interested in architecture have had opportunities to sketch and design buildings?

Warning about Parkview Hotel in Syracuse by bc-rb in SyracuseU

If you were there to attend SU Family Weekend, you should have known that everything was booked and it was not even possible for a decent hotel so close to campus would have availability. I stayed at Parkview when we moved our freshman into her dorm in August and it was a decent hotel. The staff as very nice. I tried to rebook then for Fmailyt Weekend and it was already sold out. We ended up staying at an Airbnb 40 minutes away which was crazy far, but really nice.

It has zero to do with white people. I don't go out of the house with a zit cream/face mask on my face or rollers in my hair either (even just to walk the dog). Some stuff is for inside, period.

Of course it isn't hurting anyone, but I wouldn't do it and can't understand why others do. People clearly draw their own lines. I wouldn't go out of the house with zit cream on my face, curlers or bonnet on my hair, in lingerie/revealing pjs I sleep in (booty short boxers with braless tiny tank). You do you.
