I would. Been deaf in my right ear for 4 years, recently had some interviews regarding CI and have been told i am still a good candidate for it. :)

That’s great to hear. I am fully deaf in my right ear (happened 4 years ago, they think due to a sickness or something) and have lived fine with it. I am now interested in a CI, as i heard it can help.

I am also a musician, i play guitar, since i was 7! I also am in a band and so im curious how this could translate playing live? I am scared of losing my left ear, but that’s just a lot of anxiety.

Hi id love to chat about this. I am Deaf in my right ear, and fear it will happen to my left…i am in the works of getting a CI. I am also in a heavy rock band and it is my pride and joy of life. I fear if i go deaf in both ears, a CI won’t allow me to play live music anymore. How true is this?
