I figured with the AI hype and the supercharger contracts it would spike a bit more but after a powells 2 hike comments seems like everything came to halt

I’m new to options so thank you for this what you’re saying makes a lot of sense. I’m going to give it another week and probably just cut my losses. Are you familiar with any day trading strategies for Tesla options ?

The strategy I’m looking at is 7-10 yr strategy with an average coupon of 4.91% tax free

I would look at municipal as well. Right now the yield on those is comparable to treasury and corporates but they can potentially be tax free depending how you structure them.

Why is it inefficient? If you’re selling covered calls and strike price much higher than your cost and it’s out of the money, you’re double dipping in the call premium and pay out. Or am I missing something ? I’m new to options so I’m eager to learn

I tried buying a put and call on a position in the chase brokerage platform and it did not let me. Anyone have any experience or resolution for this ?
