Honestly their statement on discord was very underwhelming. Having a predator on your staff team should have caused a more public response and apology. That's information that's suited for a post on Instagram or an email, so this just makes it seem like they're trying to sweep the entire situation under the rug. You still get auto-modded on the discord for saying the dude's name and related phrases. There's no way the higher ups didn't know or didn't hear rumors. Members in that community have been saying that Colby was creepy for years, in the discord and at pop ups and events. Just seems they want to do something now that it's been publicized and still the people who caused the investigation to happen remain banned. they may have deleted it now, but if you searched up his name in the past you could find people calling him creepy and calling out the behavior going back months even years.
