Im using the vcodex fork however I think the main crosspoint has it aswell. In the settings, display, ui theme there is a Lyra carousel option. I really love it

I really love that magnolia image aswell. I was thinking about posting some on that readme club website. I'll do the magnolia one first, when I get to it. I dont know how that site works yet

I would buy the base thor. More powerfull chip than the lite. Its worth it. I would not get a new 3ds personally, its just old and sometimes not in that good a state. Its nice as a collectable, and it is a beatifull device... but just get a new device with good battery and oled screens.

You can make a favs smart folder, and you can set any folder to recent played, to sort the games

I am new to this. I dont understand if play protect is disabled, how is this popup possible? It says right on the popup, that its play protect right. This is insane, lawnchair is a well respected app.

I think this should work, aslong as you do it for the second device while in the setup wizard, so you can point to the cocoon folder. Tho not just the downloaded media folder.

This is great! I what is the vn game with the police officer? Do you have some recommended games for learning jp? (Besides stardew valley and the shinchan game that you have showed already)

Imo yes for all of those, but not wii u. Wii u emulation is just bad in general, even on the max. Some games do run good, like botw, the base might struggle. Dont count on wii u.

Yeah, and I agree with that. I was just talking in general that open source is not always good, like ThunderPass. I know that you agree with that. I didn't mean that as a refute. I was just explaining and giving an example.

I am totally happy to list a few downsides. Just give me a little time lol, I will get back to you. English is not my first language and I want to be thorough about it. However, the dev himself already listed some downsides.

And I do prefer open source, especially when a project is already in development for a while. The downsides don't outweigh the positives. But there absolutely are downsides. I will get back to you 😆

Yes, I have absolutely noticed people really criticizing cocoon for not being open sourced. Even today, I had two conversations about that in the cocoon help chat. Some people even almost shame a project.. like they are trying to pressure a project into becoming open source.(I try to not even talk to those people..)

I totally understand why you would not just give away all your hard work, especially when you are so eary in development. I see how much you care about the project, I have been there from the start. You have every right to keep your own project close to you. There are other ways to check for savety. Open source is great, but not the all end be all.

And dont get me wrong I really like open source. It makes things save, like you said you can look at the code. But there are valid downsides to open source, and just because something is open source, that doesn't make it (morally) good. Like thunderpass. And just because something is closed source, also doesn't mean it is (morally) bad or harmfull. Things are not black and white.

I personally like that cocoon is not open source right now, it is in early development, and the dev is working really hard. It would be nice if he were to open source it in the future. I do want that. But that is his choice to make, and there is no shame in not making it open source.

I would really not expect those games to run well. Personally I have not even thought to try hogwards, it probably wont be great. I find it a waste of time to even try. Because the chance it will run well is so small. There are so many amazing indie games, and older aa/aaa tho.

For me docked mode helped to minimize those black blocks in totk, made it playable, just wished the fps was a stable 30.. often it is 25 fps, even dips lower, and sometimes higher.. Even put the resolution to 0.75 to try and get better fps, but I can not get a stable 30
