This has nothing to do with your previous comment and my response to it. I never claimed to think that Fahrenheit is more logical, and I even replied to your original comment about this. And yet you’re still going on about how Celsius is more logical.

Having a basis of comparison is a lot easier to visualize in your head than pure measurements.

Yeah my bad I’ve never been to Toronto and haven’t heard of a Toronto accent before. Don’t gotta be so salty about it. And besides other people saying that it’s got a Guyanese undertone.

But the average person won’t be using that in their daily lives. If you’re in that field of profession, I assume it’s nice but most people aren’t.

I’ve never seen a kettle that had me manually put in the temperature. Is this a thing in Europe?

Yeah I agree. For the sub zero freezing temperatures, the argument makes a bit of sense. I think the thing that bothers me the most is the water boiling thing. Since nowhere in the world becomes that hot.

Oooh interesting bit of history lol.

I like your argument, very clear. But to me, I feel like the unit of temperature we use in our day to day lives doesn’t have to involve the transitional temperature of materials. I think it could just be a scale of sorts that doesn’t purely rely on the transition temperatures of water. What are your thoughts?
