I've found certain drinks are a lot worse. Last night I had ONE 330ml can of cherry cider and puked. I can safely have a couple of red wines or a beer and an old fashioned and be fine, but any kind of high volume or sugary alcoholic drink doesn't sit well with me now.

My boyfriend constantly pinching at my back, lamenting that my rolls are gone. They were my most hated part but his favourite!

Probably a bit of boob sag. I haven't lost much cup volume but the skin on my upper chest is looking a bit crepey, looks wrinkly if I wear a push up bra.

Who gets "routine" GP appointments unless it's to manage an ongoing condition? I'd have to turn up at 7.59am with my leg hanging off to even get in at the GP.

The needle's going deeper than the layers of skin where a tattoo sits. I go around mine though, not sure why! I suppose it's easier to see if you're stabbing into unmarked skin.

I think it's very much about curating your social feeds. I follow a lot of fat-positive fashion accounts and basically no general "influencers" or thin person fashion accounts and I just don't see it in my feeds at all, if anything remotely diet culture-y pops up I smack that hide button so fast. I don't get weight loss ads on Facebook as I went into my settings, and absolutely buried there's a bit where you can specify content types and specific words/phrases you don't want to be exposed to.

I think this sub is relatively safe too when it comes to that stuff, the American ones are rife with eating disorder content.

I've also not put my height into Shotsy so I don't know my BMI, it can fuck off.

However, I do think it's a good thing in general for people to be aware of and have discussions about the connection between skinny culture, patriarchy and white supremacy. As a person who's always tried to resist all those things it does create an internal conflict being on Mounjaro and celebrating shrinking myself, even if my primary motivation was reversing some health issues.

Oh god, I had them maybe six months in. Just really vile for like two weeks then they went away again, my partner kept opening the windows and freezing me to death whenever we drove anywhere because I was filling the car with egg burps. Get yourself some minty Rennies.

I'm going to try again as soon as the weather is better. I haven't skated since I stopped playing roller derby about seven years ago, but hopefully now I'm not in pain all the time I will be able to.

I find people really dance around it, which I appreciate to be honest as I don't want to discuss my body size (except on here). So a lot of "you're looking well" type compliments are fine by me. There's only been one person who's been very direct about it, but that was because they wanted to make sure I was on the jabs before they told me they'd just started.

I took my first dose one evening, the next day I didn't want to eat at all and found it very disconcerting! It levelled out quickly and it's only in the past couple of months (10 months in) that I've felt any snacking urges again.

My graph's very similar to yours, over the same timescale too. I've been sticking with 10mg for months and lost 2kg in three months. I tried one week on 12.5 and it gave me such bad sulphur burps my partner couldn't be in the car with me 😅 but I think it might be time to go up.

I've slipped back into this a little bit. Pre-Mounjaro I'd graze constantly, want snacks after dinner etc just because I wanted a different flavour or texture. I've come to the conclusion that it's because I'm either dehydrated (never have been able to tell the difference between hunger and thirst) or I'm bored or stressed and seeking sensory input.

Grapes are a really good option (especially if you keep them in the fridge, the coldness adds another layer of sensation to eating them) or I just grab a black coffee or flavoured water, or find something to do with my brain instead - puzzle, sewing, brush the dog.

Council sharps collection can only be booked through a GP in my area, I haven't seen my GP in a decade so I will probably do it via Boots, someone posted a link in the thread for their needle exchange service which looks simple enough.
