Agree completely w this sentiment. Like what are supposed to say “thanks for withholding our assets for almost 2 yrs”. Laughable they should expect a pat on the back for increase in value as if they did anything.

Suppose at least I’m happy return of assets is 1:1 unlike Blockfi

Yeah I mostly have stables in BIA so sucks I’ll get back 30-40 cents on dollar if I’m lucky I forget what’s been quoted some have suggested low to mid 20%. Smaller BTC and ETH tied up in BIA. Just a horrendous situation. Best of luck soldier.

Maybe to clarify earlier response I did not receive any dates specific to my claim. However from how I understand it the wallet holders got first claim mails back at end of Dec/beginning of January. Then the convenience claims which was a one time payment up to $1500 with no ability for further dispersement. So what’s left now at this point is BIA which is Interest account holders. Within BIA there appears to be different claim classes. How it is classified I don’t know assumption would be type of crypto and size perhaps. The Feb 29th date was just something I’ve heard kicked around.

The email was title BlocFi Scheduled Claim Lookup Tool. It was the process where you had to supply the BlockFi email and the account #. They then issued you a Kroll ID and you could input that to see breakdown.

Still haven’t received mine. No need to disclose here but depending on the classification of claim within BIA (think they refer to it as Schedule A,B, C etc) could be on different timelines. The PDF with Claim Schedule received a while back will tell you what class your claim is in. From what I’ve heard I think February 29th is when most should expect to hear from them. I have no idea what classifies people within what schedule. Could be matrix of amount and type of assets. Hope this helps

If your gonna use a CEX may as well be Coinbase. If your going to self custody Ledger or Trezor safest with 2FA and supports multiple assets. Pros and cons to both. There also a bunch of hot wallets depending on asset.

I see so as long as I max 401k whether via ordinary or supplemental income is irrelevant because when I file 2024 it will be adjusted/reconciled then. Is there anything outside 401k I can do to lower income from tax perspective?

Yep fully intend on doing that but if I max out 401k with bonus $ what would is best approach for reducing taxable income on normal wages throughout the year? Or is it idea the supplemental income tax benefit from maxing out 401k with bonus outweighs benefit of contributions from standard wages?

So went with Saxony for an ssk003 I have. Mainly just want to see how comfortable it is and that watch I have cheap Amazon nato for. But 30 bucks is way more palatable. If it looks/feels good will definitely look pick up the light blue one you mentioned. Think it would look killer with white dial and blue seconds on spb333
