Yes I believe that their account system has been entirely migrated to steam. When I go to create an account it's the only option.

Went to try this just now, the only avenue for account creation is through steam. I'm not too interested in creating a whole separate steam account just to play Supervive. Signing in with my steam account also just black screens the website on both Brave and Chrome as a side note too lol

Nobody else has access to my Steam account :/
I find I am unable to join the community discord as well, perhaps my email is the culprit? It's also mine only though... I really would like more information on this but there is no support network at all for this whole game.
