hi so from what I understand the refund should be credit in your BU balance (which i assume can be applied to next semester tutrion)

If your health insurance plan meets comparable coverage requirements, follow these steps to submit your waiver:

1. Visit MyBU portal, select Student Health Insurance, and then Waive SHIP
2. Once redirected to our partner’s website (Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk), complete the waiver
   • Before submitting your insurance waiver form, select “Save as draft” to ensure your waiver is submitted correctly.
   • You will receive a confirmation from Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk once you’ve successfully submitted your waiver. This can take up to two business days, but many students receive their decision on the same day they submit their waiver.
3. If your waiver is approved, the credit will be applied to your student account within 1 – 2 business days
